Please note that this small shop is take out only (there are a few outside tables if the weather is nice.) There are no bathrooms available, so if you are on a road trip and trying to minimize stops, it may not be the best option.
That said, we ordered two lattes and they were both excellent. Not sickeningly sweet and very hot. There had a variety of flavor combinations and a nice list of seasonal beverages, in addition to more substantial food offerings. Just wish they had a bathroom available for those of us passing through!

When no one else was open 2 days AFTER Christmas, they were. Thank God!! We didn’t want fast-food. This nice little open air stop in downtown Heflin was perfect. We both had sandwiches, drink chips and a cookie ( the combo). Sorry no pictures.

Quaint. Unique. Two overused words that perfectly describe this place. Unlike any place around. My wife is a daily customer (sometimes 2x), and I get one of there hot sandwiches whenever I can. Brandon has developed a friendly, cozy atmosphere that invites you to hang out and enjoy the excellent fare. Need a ride for you and your bike? Their shuttle service can be taylored to fit your Pinhoti Trail adventure. A must stop.

My daughter and I were out for a walk in Heflin and we stumbled upon this place. We decided to try the coffee and I’m so glad we did. Not only was the coffee amazing but the barista Kate was amazing as well. She did a fine job explaining their menu and she gave my dog a free pup cup. I can’t wait to go back to Elevated Grounds.

Very good croissant sandwiches made to order, really enjoyed them. Only disappointment was no hot beverage caffeine free, I can’t have caffeine for medical reasons so that’s important to me. Husband loved his caffeine coffee drink. Recommend this place.

Not far off the trail. A cup of their coffee was worth the trip. The Reuben only added to the bliss. As of we needed one, we found another reason to love the Pinhoti.

This is a to go area but they do have tables for you to sit out outside. The barista/cashier was incredibly kind, recommended a few different items. They have quite a robust menu, leave their seasonal drinks available year round, and they offer things like acai bowls, root beer floats, and banana splits in addition to coffees and smoothies.
