This is one of my favorite Cuban bakeries. The service and food are both excellent and the prices are very fair. It’s by far the best bakery south of Flagler and I’ve been to most. Great for takeout or dine in. It’s a nice big space with plenty of tables and space. It’s in a strip shopping center with plenty of parking.

I went in to order pastries and an orange juice and they gave me Sunny-D. Not kidding I felt like I was being disrespected. What they should have done was tell me they didn’t have any juice before I paid for it. What kind of bakery does something like that? On top of that their guava pastry was mega soggy it felt like I was biting into a ball of Mozzarella and not flaky at all. They also had 6 people working there and only one was helping customers while the other 5 were just standing around talking nonsense for lack of better words. I do not like leaving bad reviews but this is a joke. For a bakery that has been in business for so long they really disappointed never coming back here again.

I frequent this spot and it’s the same thing every time trying to get an order, by their rules, at the far left under the “order here” sign. That’s if they don’t skip you and just take someone standing by the register, which happens allot. Today, I was the only customer wanting to put in an order, 1 was already attended, and 2 eating. That’s it, the place was empty. Apparently the 5 employees couldn’t bother to take my lunch order. I tried to flag a lady down and she gave me attitude and was sarcastic about my statement I had a limited lunch break. I just walked out. They lost a customer

Honestly the best service I’ve gotten. The people who work here are so nice to me. Maria Luisa also gives excellent service just like everybody else. Just like food I get served is always given to me great and I always see the workers with a good services and a smile. I come here every day before work and the food and service is excellent. No complains from me

Edit: Bringing it down to 1 star because my boyfriend decided to give it another try this morning and ordered us breakfast sandwiches. Mine had SO much mayonnaise, it was disgusting. Mayo coming out when I held it, coming out when I bit it I couldn’t finish it…all I could taste was mayo!! We’re really trying to go for local places but they’re making it so hard to eat here. Why did you put so much mayo in my sandwich???

Please stay away from this place. I was trying to use the rewards I had with them which were about 5 dollars and they had no clue how the rewards program works and charge me the full price. They will scam you plus their food is overprice and service is horrible. There are plenty of reliable bakeries out there, this one is not one of them

Went to Ricky bakery on sw 117th avenue this morning for some Cuban toast and a Cortadito! What a great place! The services was phenomenal! Right away I was taken care of, the young lady who took care of me was great! Great personality and awesome customer service!
If you want an early fix on some good Cuban toast, croquetas and one of the best Pizza pastel there is in town hit this place up!

I bought a pastica de pimiento and it was moldy. I figured that it happens. Just throw it away and move on. But then I saw the reviews and looks like mold is a common ingredient at this bakery. I can’t speak about the service because there 1 person helping clients and 3 or 4 doing busy work.

I love Ricky bakery but the one in coral way the quality and costumer service is way better. This Ricky bakery at 117th ave is horrible walk in both ladies talking on the phone instead of priority the costumers first!
