Our server Ernest was attentive, informative and kind. Started with Pineapple Mimosas so yummy! And for the best, Chimi steak plus Birra Grilled Cheese was one of the best meals we have had in a very long time! So good, a must go.

Absolute Disappointment
$38 “Hand Cut” Steaks Burned outer texture and none of the Fat, Gristle or Silver skin was trimmed. Got a butter knife to saw through the steaks that were supposed to be cooked Medium.
Garlic Mashed Potatoes were Bland and lacked any character…. I didn’t think it was possible to mess up mashed potatoes.
Salad seemed fresh and was somewhat decent but they didn’t include the dressing and our food was already out before they brought some Ranch.
While the server was very polite but we had to constantly ask for everything:
Salt and Pepper , Ranch Dressing, Silverware, Napkins, forgot Extra Sides that we ordered. Never got water refill, and waited forever for the 2nd mixed drink.
We did enjoy the Buffalo Chicken Dip, but should ask for extra chips in advance or you’ll be waiting for a while.
Cleanliness meets the standard. But food prep, consistency and service just wasn’t there. Honestly, if you’re not ensuring the food quality and cooked properly, it’s not surprising that service is going to be lacking.
They looked like they were fully staffed but really seemed to lack focus.

It was a very nice experience here for dinner Friday night with my friends. I enjoyed the cilantro lime chicken bowl as the main entree and the shrimp as an appetizer. Very good portion sizes. The music was great!

Superb meal! Had the chorizo deviled eggs with a couple of great drinks from the bar, and grilled meatloaf and steak frites. All was amazing, and Ashley was a great server. Def try this one!

They’re cocktails are PERFECTLY balanced. They made a bloody mary that did NOT taste like pasta sauce (which is generally what it tastes like to me) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Their food is amazing, and I recommend both the BELT and the birria (spelling?) grilled cheese worth connsume (spelling?). I will most definitely be going back. Best place in town.

I stopped here a few weeks ago while traveling. The place was very clean with a modern vibe. After a long drive, I wasn’t sure what to order, so I asked my server, Ernest, for something simple but good. He gave me a few solid options, and I went with the Mexican burger. It was freshly cooked, tasty, and definitely hit the spot.
Ernest was super attentive, checking in on drinks, condiments, and everything else. Overall, it was a really nice stop and a great find in a small Texas city.

I’ve been here 3 times. The first time was our best experience but still wasn’t amazing. We had bolognese pasta and the ribeye (i think) both were good but nothing too memorable. Second time I went with friends and got the tacos and they were “meh”.
The 3rd time we went was probably our last time. We ordered sweet potato fries to start and those were the best part of our meal. My husband got the shrimp and grits and it had no flavor and lacked salt. I ordered the birria bowl. I asked them if I could get rice instead of ramen since I am sensitive to gluten. They gladly asked the kitchen if it could be done and they said they could. But the waitress says to me “I asked the kitchen and they said I guess we can” basically telling me they didn’t want to. It was something along those lines. So made me feel like an inconvenience. I worked in restaurants for 12 years, serving and bartending and I would never tell a customer that’s the reaction I got from the cooks even if it was. It was just a bit strange. Ok back to the birria bowl… they made it with rice which was nice but it was soooooo salty I couldn’t even eat it. It was so so so bad. I took as many bites as I could just so I wouldn’t be hungry anymore but it was terrible. Would not recommend. The atmosphere is cool and their cocktail menu is nice. If we come back we would only come for maybe an appetizer and a cocktail.

No i see why they have salt in the name.of the restaurant. I ordered a burger boy i tell you…it was salty, that is about all I could taste, the patty alone was super dry. The staff were amazing and the place is beautiful. We also ordered the develed eggs, they were okay.

I had the amazing opportunity to photograph some incredible dishes for Urban Salt, and let me tell you, the experience was just as amazing as the food. Here’s a quick rundown of some of the items I got to capture:

Urban Queso
The Urban Queso appetizer caught my eye right away. While photographing it, I couldn’t help but admire the smokey tortilla chips topped with chorizo crumble. The flavor is on point, though I would’ve loved a little more chorizo to really elevate it. The dish was just as delicious as it looked!

Dream Girl Vibes
The Dream Girl Vibes cocktail, featuring gin, lemon, basil, and Serrano, was another standout. It’s a refreshing, spicy upgrade to a classic seltzer—perfect for anyone who loves a little heat in their drink.

Braised Beef Rib
The braised beef rib was the star of the show. As I photographed it, I marveled at how the tender, slow-cooked rib fell off the bone with ease. Paired with creamy garlic mashed potatoes, it’s the kind of comfort food that’s just as good to eat as it is to photograph.

I’ve included some of my food photos here, but the true experience is something you’ll want to enjoy firsthand. If you’re nearby, definitely make the trip—you won’t be disappointed!
