Coasters Beach Grill in the Buckroe Beach area of Hampton announced the restaurant is closed temporarily with plans to re-open in mid-April.

This is a great place to have a Lunch Date with your spouse of favorite person. This is a fairly new spot named Coasters Beach Grill and it is definitely a hidden gem. Located right at the local’s favorite Buckeye Beach. The mango margarita was absolutely delicious!! The food is nice and seasoned just like grandma Sunday dinner. The entire staff is very friendly and the place has a great atmosphere. Also if your looking for entertainment you don’t have to look far because they have events every day of the week. Tonight is reggae night with a live band! I recommend that everyone come check them out!!

I recently dined here and while the food itself was decent, everything else left much to be desired. The menu had some solid options, and what I ordered tasted fine—nothing mind-blowing, but prepared well enough. Unfortunately, the service was slow, inattentive, and downright frustrating. My server barely checked on the table, didn’t want to refill any drinks, and seemed more interested in getting away from our tables then helping them.

Great service! Our waiter was extremely nice and efficient! We were greeted by multiple workers which was great also. I got the wings and cheesey fries and the food was great. They do different things each days like kareoke, comedy, dj, live music etc. Would definitely recommend!!

I hate to call this a dive bar, but it has the vibe and looks like a great place to visit during the football season. Friday at 7 pm. No one there eating. Very prompt service and food was cooked quickly. I ordered the buffalo chicken jalapeño egg roll and I got buffalo chicken and jalapeños over tortilla chips. Didn’t bother ordering dinner they could not get my appetizer right. Cheap prices and quick cook times since there’s no one there. 2 out of 5 stars

Love this spot. Great 90’s and 2000’s R&B vibes with sports on the TVs. We have been making our way across the menu every couple of weeks as locals. The food is made to order, and service is always friendly. The only issues we encounter are when items are unavailable. Can’t make a DaDa burger without the bacon. The cat fish nuggets are deliciousness, crab balls (when available) are a treat, and the $5 whiting sandwich and fries on Fridays is a steal. The drinks that aren’t on special are pricey. Overall, it is a lowkey hole in the wall during the offseason. Great for date nights and dinner with the kids. I am looking forward to seeing it with a full house during the summer.
