Just left there on a Saturday night..Got there at 7:15pm and walked out at 7:45pm…when we got here there was 1 table waiting for their bill when we were seated. Waitress never showed up..we watched her talking and bobbing around doing nothing. Didn’t even get a drink even though we were the only table (besides table leaving) and waited 30 minutes. The table that was waiting to leave were upset and shaking their heads waiting for the waitress to return. Left and went down the street to Fox’s Den. Had a drink in our hands within 1-2 minutes and placed our order.

This place used to be our go-to for a good meal. There used to be great specials on the board, great service and it was a great place to come to on the boat. Our last time there last weekend, we had been seated by a very unmotivated young man, the special board is gone, did not get greeted by a server or even the bartender who btw way was not busy at all. There were two other tables in there besides us. Our table was sticky so I asked for a rag which was equally as disgusting. Then after several minutes of nothing we finally just left. It’s really unfortunate that such a beautiful place with wonderful food in the past is just going down the tubes. I truly hope these reviews are being read by someone in charge and things can be good again. It’s just so sad.

The lobster bisque soup has changed since switching ownership. $6 for a cup of soup that was like campbell’s tomato soup. Watery, bland taste, no pieces of meat or anything, and served with nothing but a spoon. No crackers or anything. Had a few bites and sent it back. The staff didn’t seem to care what experience the customers had.

We hat the meat trio pizza with additional cheddar cheese and it was excellent! We also sat by the fireplace which was very cozy. Our server was also very attentive and pleasant. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Some of the most expensive terrible food I’ve had, the only good thing about this place is the view. The perch batter was wet and mushy and tasted like walmart fried chicken. The wings had a terrible aftertaste, couldn’t even finish it. The mozzarella sticks weren’t even cooked, solid cheese and microwaved, not to mention they didn’t come out till after our food. Not to mention the toilets don’t work with no warning or signage. Took years for server to come out with anything and we were one of two tables in the restaurant. Overall I wouldn’t touch this place with a 10 foot pole. Straight scam

We always know going up north service is slow for some reason, but this was off the hook horrible. Our food took over 45mins. $22 got me a 3oz piece of undercooked salmon and the smallest overcooked baked potato. Thsts it. Hopefully owners read these reviews and get this beautiful building with a beautiful view in shape. Disappointing.

We decided to bring two of our friends here for dinner after talking about how good the steak salad was and the calzones were. We parked at their dock (arriving by pontoon) walked up and was seated outside on the patio. When we looked at the menu we noticed that the menu has changed and both items are now discontinued. Ann F. who was our server apologized and informed us that new owners had taken over. So we ordered dinner. Food was very good and service was excellent. After comming here for many years as a local sometimes 2-3 times a month with items gone looks like we will not be comming as often…and can’t brag about our favorite items….I’m curious to see if anyone buys a $110 steak???

If I could give a negative star, I would. We had reservations for a party. When we got there, it took the waitress a long time to come take our drink orders. I placed an order for a cocktail. Twenty minutes later I finally got my drink. The amount of actual drink was about a shot, the rest was ice. I was never asked if I wanted anything else to drink. One of my friends even had to go up to the bar to get her own drinks.
Finally, the waitress started taking orders. She didn’t seem to be writing anything down. We had over 10 people in our group. She skipped the person we were celebrating and never came back, even when we tried to get her attention. After a very long wait, our food started coming out one dish at a time, brought by other waiters and waitresses. We tried telling them we hadn’t all placed our orders because she ignored us when we spoke and just kept walking away.
When we finally got her attention and told her she never took everyone’s order, she finally did and then we waited another 30 minutes for that food. Some of us had already had our meals for half an hour by then. Still no additional drinks were offered or asked for. Then she said they had to sauté the peppers for his order, but his dish didn’t even have peppers, so we had no idea what was going on. After giving up on his meal, he insisted the rest of us eat.
I ordered the mac and cheese with chicken along with a friend. What came out looked like they dumped a cup of milk in a bowl, partially cooked some spiral noodles, threw in some breaded chicken, baked it, tossed a little shredded cheese on top, and served it. The “sauce” was just milk sitting on the bottom it wasn’t creamy at all. The chicken didn’t look fully cooked when I cut into it. I ate about five bites of noodles and chicken and gave up. By this point I was dying of thirst and still had nothing to drink.
One of the guests brought a cake for the celebration, so we ate that. By then we had been there almost 2 hours, and still the guest of honor had no meal! The waitress finally came back and asked if anyone wanted boxes. This was the first time I had seen her since she took my order. I told her the food was inedible, and she just grabbed it and walked away.
Another 20 minutes later, we got our bills—and every single one was wrong. People who only drank water were charged for soda. Food was listed incorrectly. I was charged full price for my meal, with no discount offered, even though I couldn’t eat it. Worst of all, they charged the guest of honor after everything that happened with his order. Are you kidding me?! She walked away and didn’t say a word when we tried to talk to her about it.
The friend who had gone to the bar for her own drinks finally asked the bartender to have the manager come over. He eventually showed up while the waitress was talking to him about something. We waited again, and finally my meal was discounted, but they were only going to discount the guest of honor’s meal. Our server Ann was amazing as usual. But since the new owners took over they changed the menu and we were very disappointed. They took the steak salad off the menu and the calzones which is our favorite thing to come here and eat. Being a local we are not happy with the menu change at all.
