Came here for breakfast and had a great time! The service was EXCELLENT and was the standout. They had outdoor seating which was perfect for a warm fall morning in CT

The food was good! I particularly liked the pomme rosti and would recommend it, with the eggs and side salad. The fresh squeezed orange juice was also very refreshing.

They are very kid friendly.

We were visiting from NYC and stopped by at this restaurant. Drinks and basic clam pasta were fine but steak tartar was not fresh at all. It was stinky and discolored. We let the waiter know that the dish wasn’t edible for the reasons. She tried to convince us that it’s freshly made and nothing wrong with it.

We came to Bistro V for a weekend brunch and dined outside. There was some shade and it was nice to sit outside.

I love lobster rolls in CT and decided to try this one. It was covered in sauce, though, and you couldn’t taste the freshness of the lobster. The french fries tasted like they’d been sitting there, too. If you’re looking for a good lobster roll, I’d recommend going elsewhere.

Bistro V is the first French restaurant I’ve ever visited, and like many of the Greenwich Ave restaurants, everything was top tier! First, I want to give a shout out to the bartender, because he made one of the best mocktails I’ve had! It was a fruit punch one and made me feel like I wasn’t missing out by not drinking. All of the food was delicious, and the highlights for us were definitely the short rib and the chicken paillard. We also had some of the best chocolate truffles we’ve ever had for dessert! I totally want to come back for breakfast/brunch, and I think their pastries must be amazing too based on the quality I experienced in everything else. Love the bistro feel and how cozy the restaurant was!

Even though the menu is a bit “tired”, the food is consistently tasty and well prepared. Portions are just the right size as well. What I really like about Bistro V though is the service and atmosphere. It’s just the perfect place for a weekday dinner (or weekend) where you get excellent service and it’s easy to talk to (and hear) your dinner companions. I go with my family at least once a month and it’s like going to a good friend’s house. Welcoming, with good food and a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Had a lovely time – they had a live singer playing throughout brunch today. The steak pillarcard is excellent but the clam linguine wasn’t. The clams were so tiny u could barely see it. Lots of butter sauce but not much flavor. However the service is good and the atmosphere is excellent. I enjoyed our time there for sure. There is a little bakery upfront where people ordered pastries – we didn’t have any but it did look good – will return for sure to try something else

Solid classic dishes for any occasion! We enjoyed the appetizers and mains! I got the fish tacos which were nice! The chunky guacamole appetizer was a great starter. This is one of the better restaurants on Greenwich ave

Step into the world of French elegance with our review of Bistro V, a stunning dining destination in Greenwich, CT. This upscale spot delivers not only exquisite flavors but also an atmosphere enriched by unique art and design. The full food reveiw is on YouTube.
We started with the beautifully plated Tuna Tartare and crispy Calamari. For the mains, we savored the tender Duck Confit, perfectly paired with asparagus and sweet potato, and the mouthwatering Steak Frites, elevated by a rich mushroom topping.
The cocktails were just as captivating as the food!
We tried the Spicy Margarita and a mezcal drink featuring wine and a shishito pepper. The server introduced a fun ritual: stir the drink with the pepper, make a wish, and take a bite. If the pepper is sweet, your wish will come true; if it’s spicy, better luck next time!
Bistro V’s ambiance is as charming as its cuisine, featuring art by the same talented artist who designed the menu covers. The pièce de résistance?
A breathtaking chandelier made from vintage champagne bottles, adding a unique touch to the sophisticated decor.

If you’re looking for an unforgettable French dining experience with a creative twist, Bistro V is a must-visit!

My parents and I had a few appetizers, drinks and coffee today at Bistro V. Overall the experience was very pleasant with the live band contributing positively to the lively yet not too overwhelming atmosphere. Additionally, the food and drinks were tasty and were delivered in a timely manner and the staff was friendly. Our only bit of constructive feedback is that near the end of our meal even as we asked for refills of our beverages we were asked 5 or so times within ten minutes (no exaggeration) if everything was okay. We felt as if we were being rushed out which we would have understood if there was a line or if all tables were taken, but there was no line and the two adjacent tables next to us had just freed up. We had only been at the venue for about 30 minutes in total and so it just seemed strange to feel so rushed at the end especially after having ordered some more beverages. This is only a minor observation; We would definitely come back to this eatery again and would very much recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a place to dine, drink and enjoy some live music.

There are plenty of places on Greenwich Ave with a short wait time, good food and acceptable service. This is not one of them. Loooong wait to order and for food even when the restaurant is nearly empty, food is decent but doesn’t stand out, and waitstaff/management put themselves before their customers. Oh – and don’t try to walk in with a cup of coffee you purchased earlier while walking around browsing or bring a bag in from a competitor bakery. They will freak out and ask you to re-cup it. So silly and completely tone deaf to the Greenwich Ave shopping day vibe.
