Monday afternoon visit, food truck with a couple of picnic tables available for seating. Shrimp poke and bbq chicken were our entrees. The shrimp poke was on the salty side and they also just automatically put ranch on the salad. The bbq chicken was a good dish overall. The macaroni salad was good, nice and light, not too much mayo. The service was fine, nothing spectacular.

Ordered the meat jun which i have never heard of from the mainland. Beef was tender and perfectly cooked, the egg was so smooth and everything combined with the dipping sauce made it delightful. Ordered extra kimchi but was disappointed that it wasnt cabbage however the cucumber was refreshing on a hot day. The seating area had a lot of flies and begging cats.

Ohana Yummy BBQ in North Shore is a fantastic spot for delicious food and great vibes! The deep fried ice cream is a must try!! crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and absolutely delicious. My favorite drink is the matcha (blend)!! It’s so refreshing and perfectly balanced! They also have new menu items, and the Beef Ragu with Spaghetti is absolutely dope!!. It’s rich, flavorful, and so yummy.
On top of that, the owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Highly recommended!

First time ordering from this food truck for lunch… and unironically came back for dinner the same day. My wife and I loved the food and this was one of the best values for price within the nearby area.
For lunch, we had the $19.50 combo bowl (spicy ahi and tempura shrimp) and a $12.50 tempura shrimp maki roll. The poke was incredibly well prepared and super fresh. It really seemed like only the best parts of the ahi were used. You also get a very filling amount that should fill you up. The roll was 6 super big pieces that would’ve been the equivalent to 12 pieces anywhere else. The shrimp tails on both dishes had the shells already removed and prepared in a way where you could just eat and not worry.
For dinner, we had the $16.50 beef teriyaki plate and a $10 side dish of meat jun. The beef was very tasty and very tender. The salad and kimchi were basic, but good. The meat jun wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but they gave us a sweet chili sauce that really elevated the flavor to something very good.
The workers in the food truck were super kind and you could tell put lots of effort into their food. We would love to come back again in the future as this has become our favorite food truck within Hale’iwa.
NOTE: Prices as of November 2024

SO good!!! In fact, we went back 3 times during our week visit. The BBQ chicken plate was insane. Their katsu chicken was also delicious. Amazing portions and good price.

Good selection of Korean BBQ favorites. Ordered the short ribs and chive pancakes. I highly recommend the ribs. Marinade is spot on and they are well cooked. The chive pancakes are tasty as well, but a little oily for my taste.

The lady at the truck was so warm and friendly, and that first impression alone led us to ordering here. The rice was amazing, my coconut shrimp was so tasty, and my husband said the teriyaki beef was the best he’s had in his entire life. If you are on the North Shore, I highly recommend it. We will be back!

I was skeptical about sushi from a food truck but this place was amazing! I got the crazy maki, and they did not skim on the ingredients! Super yummy! Highly recommend. Don’t judge a book by its cover or you’ll miss out.
