Inspired by the history of collegiate eating clubs, we created a place for convivial gatherings and classic tavern fare. Set in the heart of forward-looking Silicon Valley, our Menlo Park restaurant celebrates the past thinkers, dreamers and doers who conspired together over delicious food and drink. The atmosphere was wonderful—very cozy for a hotel restaurant. The portions were generous, and the food was nicely seasoned, not too salty. However, while we were still eating, the staff kept asking if they could clear our plates—at least ten times—which made it uncomfortable to fully relax and enjoy the experience. We continued ordering drinks, including rosé sparkling wine, but the frequent interruptions took away from the enjoyment. That said, it’s a perfect place to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere.

Just enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Menlo Tavern and couldn’t be happier with the experience. We requested a table in the bar area near the fireplace, and it was incredibly cozy. We had the grilled chicken salad along with soup and grilled cheese—everything was delicious. Don’t sleep on the fries either; they’re seriously the best! The staff was friendly and attentive, and the espresso martini was fabulous. I’ll definitely be back soon.

special shoutout to Eliana, Martha (these ladies especially) Ana, and Oscar for making our dining experience exceptional always. They work so hard and deserve to be recognized! Just insanely delicious gourmet food with exceptional plating, attention to detail. Seriously compliments to the chef. I mean the food is just good! We come here all the time, everything’s fresh and gourmet , bread tastes freshly baked in house. Quality of the salmon is to die for. Quality of the coffee is incredible. I think what sets this place apart is the attention to detail and quality of the staff. Happy birthday Martha by the way ☺️. Thank you to all for always taking such great care of us.

We came for a friend’s band. We were able to get seats nearby. We ordered dessert and drinks. My friends said their old fashion was perfect. The bread pudding with apples and vanilla gelato was great. Not too sweet and went well with lattes. Service was nice, the atmosphere cozy. It is a beautiful venue for a party.

Not worth the price. Extremely overpriced for such small portions. The hummus was maybe worth $8 at most, but I was charged $20! The grilled octopus starter was just a tiny piece for $21 — the portion size was ridiculous. EzMotion BAND was not fun at all. I went there specifically for the live music, but it turned out to be extremely boring and not enjoyable!! Will not go there again!

Delicious food and excellent service! We were helped by Selena and she was so wonderful with our two young kids. She even brought our daughter a little bear. Highly recommend this restaurant for young families. Also ample parking!

Come here for the atmosphere and drinks (food was mostly forgettable). The outdoor dining was so pleasant and we loved the live music! Appetizers were decent, but main meals were just ok. Steak was overcooked. Sides for the braised beef were very heavy. Service was attentive and friendly. Would give 3.5 stars overall if possible.
