I’ve been going to this great neighborhood bar for almost 8 years and I’m just now writing a review! It is truly a neighborhood bar, you see a lot of the same customers frequently. I’ve had just about everything on the menu,but my go-tos are the chili cheese hotdogs (2 8 ounce all beef dogs) served with fries and I guarantee that the meal will fill you up! The Gyro and the All American Burger (8 ounce patty) are my other go-tos. I recommend exploring the menu and finding your favorites! The staff there are like family. If I only named a few, the rest would be like “why wasn’t I mentioned” so I won’t mention names, but they are all awesome people. They have karaoke several nights a week, starting at 9 PM and it can get loud with the music and singing, but definitely fun. There is a side lot for parking in the evenings and weekends but it fills up fast. There is a free parking garage less than a block away.

Service for drinks here is super slow. Cocktails are very poorly made. Flavors completely lacking with the cocktail drinks. We ordered steak and cheese sandwich and it was pretty good but the dinner plates such as chicken kabob and rice was bad. The chicken was overcooked and dry. Steamed shrimp was good but the crab was not good because it was overly salted and the crab meat was stuck to the shell. Overall service is very slow. The food took very long to get to the table and drinks, even longer.

The jam host was insecure telling me it’s not a competition. I see him making gestures at waitresses w food like they were in his way.
He called me out over the whole bar apologizing for me messing up on the drums. I came up to him calm asked how can i improve? He lost his emotions frantic that i confronted him. I had to push him for an answer. He said i was looking down not playing the beat. Told him i was pointing my ear at the bassist. i had a good time playing music i was unfamiliar with. But this man is pushing people away

It was great to see Old Firestation #3 open and thriving with customers. I went there on Tuesday Night and it was Karaoke Night and had a Rock’n good time. Friendly and attentive service and amazing sound system made the night perfect. The Food is absolutely delicious. Their onion rings are phenomenal and their burgers are great. The Famous Green Beans are back. And it’s Especially Great to see familiar faces . I’ll be visitingThe Old Firestation #3 a lot more often.

They have great specials like dollar beer during the day and 50 cent wings all day Friday. Great pub menu with Large burgers, sandwiches and lots of special. Just across University Drive from the bandstand where they have Rock the Block!

The black guy with the mask (I’m a black woman), I don’t know if he is the manager or just a waiter, but he was disrespectful, and condescending to my disabled friend last night. He was unprofessional and rude and created a stressful, unpleasant environment for us, talking about “See, the way karaoke works is this, you can’t this and that” because my friend was saving some seats for our friends. He ruined karaoke night for us with his bitter attitude. He could have been professional. He then came to our table a second time and attempted to start a fight with ME after he gestured to the cups on the table and I told him they weren’t mine. He tried to fight ME when I was answering his questions. He kept trying to fight us. This man is disgusting and he needs to be fired. The only reason I tipped 20% was for the woman who served us. I did not want to punish her for the behavior of that miserable man. If you hate your job, then quit it. Don’t be disrespectful to the people who come in and buy your food.
