Order Pho 99 Vietnamese Restaurant – DoorDash
Reviews
We had spring rolls and Grilled Beef and Shrimp over Vermicelli. Both tasted great. The spring rolls were especially fresh.
Decor was basic, but very clean. Service was fast and efficient.
Cuisine: The star of Pho 99 is undoubtedly its pho. The broth is rich and aromatic, simmered to perfection with a balanced blend of spices that deliver a comforting depth of flavor. The noodles are consistently cooked just right—soft but not mushy—and the variety of meats, from tender brisket to flavorful meatballs, is impressive. The fresh herbs, bean sprouts, and lime served alongside add a refreshing crunch and tang.
Menu Variety: Beyond pho, the menu boasts an array of traditional Vietnamese dishes. The spring rolls are crispy and packed with fresh ingredients, while the banh mi sandwiches offer a delightful mix of textures and flavors. The vermicelli bowls are another highlight, with perfectly grilled meats and a light, tangy dressing that ties everything together. Vegetarians will also find a good selection of flavorful options.
Service: The service at Pho 99 is exceptional. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They are always ready to offer recommendations or customize dishes to cater to dietary preferences. Despite the restaurant often being busy, the service is prompt, and the staff maintains a high level of professionalism and courtesy.
Ambiance: The ambiance at Pho 99 is a blend of casual and chic, making it suitable for both family dinners and casual dates. The background music is pleasant and not overpowering, allowing for easy conversation. The restaurant is also impeccably clean, adding to the overall positive dining experience.
Value: Pho 99 offers excellent value for money. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality and authenticity of the food. It’s a place where you can indulge in a hearty meal without breaking the bank.
In summary, Pho 99 excels in delivering authentic Vietnamese cuisine with outstanding service and a welcoming atmosphere. It’s a must-visit for anyone craving a genuine pho experience or looking to explore the rich flavors of Vietnamese cooking.
From the moment you arrive, this pho restaurant stands out. The attention to detail in the décor is simply stunning—from the beautifully designed signboard to the welcoming entrance and the thoughtfully curated interior. Unlike many pho spots, this restaurant offers a unique level of privacy, with well-spaced tables that allow for a more intimate dining experience.
Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely top-notch. I ordered the spring rolls (which, unfortunately, I devoured too quickly to capture a picture!), P1 Pho (Medium), fried chicken wings, and the beef and shrimp rice plate. Every dish was presented with care, boasting a vibrant and appetizing appearance. More importantly, the flavors were authentic, rich, and incredibly satisfying. The broth in the pho was deep and flavorful, the meats were tender, and every bite reflected the quality and dedication of the kitchen.
Beyond the food, the service was outstanding. Despite the restaurant being busy, the staff remained attentive and professional. Ron, our guy, was particularly impressive—friendly, efficient, and always ensuring we had everything we needed. It’s clear that the owners put their heart into this establishment, fostering a welcoming atmosphere and a high standard of hospitality.
Overall, this place excels in every aspect—ambiance, food, and service. It’s a true gem in the Bay Area, I will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!
We ordered a chicken noodle soup (large) and spicy lemongrass chicken with rice.
Food was delicious. Only the rice was a little more dry.
They have 3 sauces on the table – hoisin, red chilli and sriracha.
Sure would like to visit again
