Very clean restaurant. Service was quick and pleasant. Food came quickly and was hot.
Had the spicy gumbo, hush puppies, fried shrimp n fries
Gumbo was so hot (temperature) had to let it sit before I could eat.
It was pretty spicy, but yummy
Shrimp and fries very good .
Our server never bothered us but was watchful and checked us regularly.
We ate from the lunch menu and the amount of food was worth the price.
The regular menu looked expensive tho.
We will go back to the mansfield location but only for lunches probably.

We LOVE The Kickin’ Crab in Mansfield. The boils are always fresh and flavorful – crab legs, clams, eggs, corn, potatoes… the whole perfect setup. I get mild, my wife gets medium, and the Kickin’ style sauce is everything and don’t even skip on the garlic butter to dip in. The staff is genuinely kind and attentive every single time, which makes the experience even better. We came once and now it’s officially our go-to seafood spot. Oh, and don’t sleep on the Cajun fries… they’re ridiculously good.

I think that I found the perfect Christmas dinner out. Kickin’ Crab delivered. It wasn’t just a regular Christmas dinner, this was a Christmas dinner that beat many others of memory. Single and eating alone means no limits.
Fried Calamari, 1 pound of heads-off Shrimp Bag, added Sausage and medium Kickin’ Sauce with garlic butter, Sweet Tea, and a New York Cheesecake sets the bar high for next year’s Christmas dinner.
No wait seating with fast and friendly service gave this tired ole Santa a much needed and very appreciated reprieve from midnight package deliveries. Merry Christmas and Ho Ho Yum.

Update ***** I am updating my review to reflect that I reached out to the owner as he requested. He was very concerned and he had a conversation with me to make things right. I told him I didn’t want anything and wanted to voice my concern for my concern for the dismissive behavior of the manager on duty. He said he wanted to offer me a full pound of shrimp and a corn for me to pick up. I went to pick it up and my order was correct and also the normal amount of seafood boil sauce I am accustomed to. Thank you Charlie for caring about your business and more importantly, your customers!*****

I am leaving a 1 star review for customer service. I received my seafood boil and it has very limited sauce on it. I drove 30 minutes round trip and asked to speak with a manager. The manager said they would give a cup of sauce and asked if there was anything else I needed. I said sure you can give me a piece of corn for my inconvenience. He said unfortunately he would not do that. I then said so my food is now cold and and Im fine with that and only asking for a piece of corn ($1.75). He again said no. I then asked for a refund. He said they have a strict no refund policy and again said no. I said no problem and I will be requesting a refund through my bank. Bad service and you have lost a long time customer. I won’t be back! You lost a customer of a piece of corn…wow!

I came in the other day, and our server Michelle was horrible!!! It was pretty busy but the other servers seemed to be managing just fine, checking in on tables and staying on top of things. While Michelle was extremely slow and never checked in on us. In fact, the other girl server who wasn’t even assigned to our table, checked on us more than Michelle did. I really wish I had just asked for a different server earlier. Michelle was definitely new at serving and really shouldn’t have been serving yet. It honestly felt like she was purposely ignoring our table. Definitely not the level of service I expected, and it made it a very disappointing experience.

I really wanted to love this place. We ordered the clam chowder which was delicious. We ordered a pound of crab with the mildest seasoning as my husband has a medical condition and can not have spicy food. We explained this to our server, and she assured that we had the mildest seasoning ( said it was what they use for children). Our crab comes out, my husband takes a small bite, and his mouth is on fire. I asked for our server, she says the kitchen accidentally gave us the hottest seasoning. She takes it back and brings us what we thought was a new order but notice it is smaller than our original order. Have to ask for our waitress again. She tells us they washed our crab and recooked it. We ask for a manager who says there is no way that happened. Then, confirms that is exactly what happened. We ask for the crab to be removed from our bill ( as we never got what we ordered or ate the hot or washed recooked crab). They take that part off, no apologies offered. Also, my husband had a reaction from the spice and was miserable the rest of the day.

First time trying out the new place! It was delicious. The kitchen did an amazing job on preparing and flavoring the food. I had jumbo shrimp that were ALL deveined!

I ordered a pound of market shrimp with the head off. I added eggs, corn and a kick-in margarita on the side!

I will be back again.

I don’t know how this restaurant got a 4.7 star review.. must be fake reviews.. snow crabs over cooked .. couldn’t get them out because they were overcooked.. seem like it had a spoon full of seasoning in the bag. And worst of all!!! They had no utensils to remove the crab legs from shells. The waiter said they didn’t have anymore and there were only 3 other customers in the restaurant. So she brought me a pair of shears to cut the crab legs open . I was too outdone .. never again. The wings were good.. I should have gone to Garland to the Boiling crab like I usually do.. but I was giving them a try because it’s close by. Next time I will take that hour drive.

First timer and it was great! Greeted upon walking in. Restaurant was very clean and decorated with the holiday spirit. Server was very knowledgeable on the menu. They have a pick three option for a boil , we chose crawfish, shrimp, and green mussels. And we added extra sausage. It was FIRE

This was our first time here, and the food was actually really good. My husband’s family is from Southern Louisiana. So, when places claim it’s “cajun,” we are a bit skeptical bc most places we try should be ashamed of themselves for saying it. Some of them don’t season half the food they serve.

This place brought out the crawfish boil in a bag with amazing flavor and the perfect amount of spice. My husband said they could’ve kicked it up a notch. He chose the medium bc he wasn’t sure how hot it would be.

I’m not a seafood person, but I do try to step out of my comfort zone. I ordered the popcorn shrimp with cajun fries. It was pretty good. I felt like the shrimp could’ve used a bit more seasoning, but I’m not sure if that’s a normal thing to not really season it. I just dipped it in the sauce of my husband’s crawfish bag. I didn’t like how extremely thin the fries were, though.

The service was good and the store was really clean. It’s a bit pricey, but you pay for what you get. His boil bag had 3 lbs of meat (he got to pick what he wanted). I think like 4 sausages, 2 corn, and 3 potatoes. Something like that for $51. The popcorn shrimp was $7.99 during their happy hour. We also ordered the jalapeño hush puppies. Those were really good, and they had good flavors as well. I recommend trying it at least once. It’s worth it. Leave your kids at home and take your SO or a friend out on a date. Thru do sell alcoholic beverages as well.
