TTBBQ where have you been all my life? This has to be THE BEST PULL PORKED SANDWICH I’ve ever had. And trust me I’ve had a few. Get a side of their delish coleslaw to throw on there. I also had the brisket beans ummmmm. This friend had the brisket sandwich and said they would only be coming here for a brisket sandwich in the future. This place is rave-able for serious. More items on the menu to try. And I’m willing to try harder LOL. They were very kind and courteous. Manager came over to see how things were and we raved about the food and how it was the best BBQ either one of us has had in a while. And the prices were very good. I was surprised. I was expecting to pay much more for what we got. I wanted to order something to go just to have it in my refrigerator LOL. I wanted to also try the cobbler but they were out. I’m going to use that as a cheap excuse to go back LOL. Oh and recycled napkins and to go containers just added to the reasons to go here! And they have more seating upstairs (or elevator) and what looks like a GREAT glass walled room for private gatherings. Okay I’ll stop ranting. If you go don’t order the cobbler leave me some LOL.

True Texas is the best barbq chain in Texas. I have been well over a dozen times to 6 locations across texas. They are all 100 percent on point and very good. HEB has cracked the code on brisket and unapologetically dunked in the face of most bbq establishments. The brisket has never been bad. The only thing I wish they would improve upon is the mac’n cheese and the price of the beef rib. There is way a better family sized HEB brand mac’n cheese on the shelf for 1/5th the price. Those two items are not worth it at all. I have recommended this place to all my family and friends.

Who doesn’t like Brisket or BBQ?! Ok I came by this location and the Staff Xena and Elizabeth gave Excellent Customer Service. Very friendly, good- vibes and really outgoing.
I ordered The chop brisket sandwich meal, sides of potato chips of your choice and a small drink. There was variety of drinks to choose from in the dining area … I have to say the Chop meat was very moist and tasty not over whelming of bbq sauce. It was a good size portion and just about right to fill my tummy.
I have to mention the Customers in the dining were enjoying their meals and one gentlemen mentioned 5 stars and I have to agree.
True Texas BBQ is a must try! If you live round about this location and haven’t filled your tummy with some BBQ?! In my opinion You’re missing out! Come by and support this location!

Ordered 3lbs of brisket, 2 full pork racks, and 6 loaded chopped brisket potatoes. All were super delicious and flavorful! Brisket could use a little more salt but was super tender and had a good bark. Pork ribs were tender and had a nice sweet taste to it. My favorite was the brisket potatoes! Nice soft potatoes, good amount of chopped briskets, and sour cream, and cheese! I thought the order came with bbq sauce but it did not. Not sure if they missed it or I was supposed to grab em. Not a big deal. The employees were super nice and double checked our order. Overall, nice joint!

I’ve lived here my whole life and tried just about every barbecue spot you can name—this one tops them all. The brisket melts in your mouth, absolutely incredible. The service was just as outstanding—Miss Elizabeth took great care of us. And do yourself a favor: when you order the cream corn, mac n cheese , or any side for that matter go one size bigger than you think you’ll need. It’s that good. Anyone saying otherwise has no taste buds, guaranteed.

Ordered potato salad that was not good, the Mac and cheese was cold and not good, but the craziest part was my son ordered the birria ramen a cup of noodles you can buy for $1.80 and they put brisket, cilantro and onion in with hot water and you pay $12. It was not hot it was warm and I told them this and they guy rolled his eyes and said I needed to let it sit longer. I received a refund. Not good service and that is ridiculous to serve cold food and us have to pay and not say anything! Never going back or recommending to anyone.

We ordered our Thanksgiving Turkey and were extremely delighted with the quality and taste. More importantly, it was the service we received from Elizabeth. She made sure our order was ready and kept in constant contact with me to make sure we get our order precisely right. If it weren’t for Elizabeth I’m certain we would’ve been greatly disappointed because it seemed like others weren’t quite sure how to handle the Holiday rush. A BIG SHOUTOUT TO ELIZABETH! every time i come in, miss Elizabeth up front always gives me a friendly greeting and great customer service! the environment inside is very relaxed while remaining upscale, a very cozy “sit down” restaurant feel. the experience here is amazingly consistent, your food always comes out hot, and you can really tell it’s all cooked to order, not to mention the menu is surprisingly varied with tons of yummy options (i love the brisket nachos in particular).
all in all, a spacious and comfy environment, friendly staff, and delicious, piping hot BBQ every single time makes this spot a no brainer! True Texas BBQ is a must have and i’m always happy to give them my business!
