We are family owned and operated. At the beginning we were only a bakery, but we are much more now. We cater to everyone, and focus providing traditional Mexicana and Latin products. Most of of which are exported from Mexico and Latin America. Fresh bolillos and traditional Mexican pastries are made warm on a daily basis. We have a taqueria/restaurant that sells tacos, tortas, quesadillas & burritos. Our phone line is mainly used to place food orders to-go. We also offer choice cut meats and handmade chorizo in our Meat department. On the weekends tamales, menudo, barbacoa and traditional carnitas Michoacán style that are handmade every week.

I have not tried the food but their bakery is excellent. Best fluffy and buttery croissants anywhere! I will make a special trip just for their baked goods. I also recommend their churros, cookies, and tres leches cakes.

Small store but they do have Great selection of bread. Their cheesecake is pretty good. Their tres leches cake is delicious. Everything in there is pretty good. Prices are decent. They have a taqueria and carniceria as well. A good little store to shop at, they have a little bit of everything.

Very small restaurant inside of a grocery store. The line to order food is between all the seats and people cannot walk in while other people are walking out very small space. The only cheese they have here to put on your food is mozzarella quesadilla burrito taco doesn’t matter they only have mozzarella. Their menus don’t have any prices on it nor do most of the food in the store. The authentic Mexican taste nothing like real Mexican food and the American stuff. I would compare closer to Taco Bell. Don’t waste your time coming here.

I wouldn’t recommend this place for cakes. I ended up paying $90 for a cake that wasn’t that big. Would of cost me $30-40 in elkhart. I had so many issues when placing the order. They didn’t know how many servings each cake had.
I was almost going to get a cake with no middle stuffing if I didn’t ask a day before what stuffing they were using. Had to pay double to get stuffing. I’ve never been to a pasteleria that sells cake without stuffing.
I spoke with the lady that decorates the cakes and she told me she was able to do what I wanted but when my husbasband picked up the cake is wasn’t even close to what I had asked. Even though she repeated what she understood to verify. So even though she knew what I wanted she just did whatever. Won’t be ordering cakes from them again.

I went to Jenny’s Panaderia for the first time today, to get some pastries. I work in downtown South Bend and wanted to show some support for a local, family-owned business. It is a bit scary from the outside, the windows and door are all barred up, and the neighborhood is a bit intimidating… but when I got inside there was a very nice gentleman who helped me figure out how the pastry selection works. Hint: you do not get a box or bag to begin with- you put the pastries on a tray, with tongs and then bring them to the register for the attendant to bag for you. 🙂 He was very nice in explaining it to me. The pastries are very tasty and a nice change from box-store donuts that are all just deep-fried yeast bread/cake covered in icing. They were not terribly expensive either, although I do think I was charged $1 extra for using my credit card, I will have to remember to bring cash in the future. I will definitely be spreading good word-of-mouth and going back in the future- it was a great experience! 🙂

Jenny’s is a literal gem. This bakery was the few if not the only panadería that had elotes in early 2000s. I came back to visit fam and found everything I needed here. A piñata, pan/pastries, and mandado/groceries. Can’t wait to visit next time.

As a recently divorced Bachelor, this place rocks. Excellent selection for simple meals, if you know how to cook I am sure there is much more you can do, and a fantastic restaurant if you are feeling a little lazy after a long day. Lots of sweets to choose from, although they don’t dump an entire bag of sugar into everything they make which is nice if you are trying to avoid severe early onset diabetes. XD Anyway, I’ve been going for years because it is so convenient so if you live nearby you should check it out. It has a lot more to offer than you might expect. On a last note, if you get their ice cream you should pick up a baked good and make an ice cream sandwich out of it. I use their donuts myself, but there is a lot of good stuff to mix and match.
