Reviews
Once I saw the menu, I instantly decided to get a burger instead. I like spice, so I went with the red hot chili peppers burger. The fries that came with it were amazing, and the burger itself was top notch, truly one of the best burgers in NJ.
I only had a conversation with Rony for about 5 minutes but he made me feel welcomed as if I was a regular. I will 100% be back and recommend others to check this spot out!
Thank you for a wonderful experience.
The ambience is soooo spot on. The vibe is great and the decorations are solid.
Even tho it’s a tiny place, it’s good enough for around 30 people inside.
The service was ok. It wasn’t good or bad, it was just ok.
The food looked amazing but tasted meh.
The bun in the burger was dry and tough. Not great seasoning to the meat. The rest was ok.
The buffalo wings were waaaaay too covered with the sauce. Don’t get me wrong, I like buffalo wings, but I don’t like soupy wings…
The fries were a little saggy but the gravy and melted cheese were good enough.
Over all it was average food. Simple service. Good ambience and regular culinary experience.
Not my taste. ♀️
A member of our group went up to pay, and this is where the screw job began. First of all, the receipt is handwritten; you can’t make out a word of what is written, and I bet Ronny couldn’t either. He tells us the bill is $166 before tip—how that is possible, only God knows.
We paid the man and gave him a tip on top of the tip he gave himself, even though we knew he was pulling a screw job (God knows Bret Hart didn’t get screwed this badly in Montreal by Vince). We can never go back. I’m writing this review so Ronny is aware that we know the games he’s playing, and as a warning to people who go with a decently large group.
Loved the music too.
The burger was yummy and cooked to perfection. It had a super tasty fresh soft roll for the bun! The fries looked different, but they were also very delicious! The portions and prices were just right!
The drink selection is good. If you get a soda, its just in a can. But if you get an iced tea, it comes in a huge mason jar! The iced tea however is unsweetened.
My suggestion to the awesome owner of this place is to offer a sweet version of this tea using grenadine syrup. Just a nice splash of grenadine syrup would really give this iced tea a great punch!
Speaking of the owner.. he is super friendly amd greats every customer as they walk in the door and checks in to make sure your meal is done to your liking. That is excellent service!
As i was eating my burger, i saw several repeat customers walk in who greeted the owner Rony and introduced him to family members they were bringing in for the first time. So when you see people comming back to a restaurant again and again and then start brining friends and relatives, you know the place is something special with great food!
Parking is a bit crazy depending on the time and day. But thats the fault of the town architects that created such a narrow main street with little area given to parking, and no fault to the owner Rony. There are several free parking lots not too far away if the on street parking is full.
Pros:
Yummy food
Awesome rock & roll theme & decorations
Awesome classic rock music
Awesome owner & employees
Good drink selection
Good food selection, lots of choices
Free parking
Friendly owner & employees
Fast service
Good portions
Good prices
Lots of tables
Outside tables too
Cons:
None
Suggestion to the owner:
Offer a sweet tea using grenadine syrup for the sweetener. That syrup mixes super fast into the tea, completely sweetens it better than sugar and adds a nice red color to it too.
The burgers are very good with fresh ingredients and homemade sauces. You feel the good quality and well prepared patty. The burger menu is extensive and there are other dishes if you don’t feel like burger. The fries where excellent as well, homemade, fresh and well prepared. Recommended the Who.
The atmosphere is nice with rock music and a personal collection decoration that makes the place vibrant.
The service is very friendly by the owner and the food was fast and well done.
An excellent place. Recommended.
