If I could give more than five stars 100% they would get “Flying” Stars!
This knocked my rating down but they went back back and said the service was much improved. The nachos were crispy and the queso was a delicious with a hint of spice. The quesadillas were cooked perfectly with the right amount of toppings.
Give it a try if you’re in the area.
For late afternoon they weren’t busy and there wasn’t a wait.
Service was interesting. The waitstaff was friendly enough, but in our time at the table (30 mins) we were helped by 4 people. Our initial waitress obviously hit the end of her shift and left. No introduction to the new waitress, which was the 4th person to help us. It was just odd.
Visually our food looked appealing, sadly the presentation was better than the taste.
The nachos were decent (we had 1 steak nacho and 1 smoked brisket). Missing jalapeños, but that’s ok. I don’t think we really had Pico de gallo on them either, as it was just diced tomatoes.
Fat man in a little coat was all around disappointing and a letdown; visually and by taste. Really the amount of food for the cost just missed the mark.
The kids taco was served with onions and tomatoes, which neither are listed in the menu, nor does my child like them.
The side of rice and refried beans (not pictured) weren’t worth their cost either. Both were lacking taste.
Over all super disappointing.
The menu is fresh, and you are able to see your food prepared; the kitchen is in full view 3/4 of the downstairs dining area. They have several live music nights, a rarity in the area anymore. No smoking in the premises.
Upstairs has an outdoor deck, and an inside eating and game area. A classic LONG hand-thrown shuffle board adorns the back wall.
Prices are reasonable and within range of post – pandemic pricing. Parking is a breeze, it’s right next to a parking garage, whubmch I believe is FREE.
It’s SICK how friendly the wait staff are. And equally knowledgeable. Friendly but never invasive or TOO familiar (IYKYK).
Our 40th high school reunion (TOWANDA, PA) was held in the open air area, outside in the lower level. Highly recommend the entire experience for small reunions, wedding parties, business meetings … Or just a relaxing night out – ask for Ann, the manager/co-owner!
