I’ve driving by this place many times, finally made to the dining room. It was great, the staff was awesome and you can see this is the place to be in the warmer months. They say that that open the sliding doors in summer, also live music. The food was fantastic!! And our waitress was great. Will definitely be visiting again.

Located in picturesque Towanda, Pa, nestled along a wonderful river view is this pleasant surprise. Had heard this was worth the stop and did not disappoint! Stopped for lunch and will make it a point to return. Food was served prompt and hot! Flavors were authentic. Server was very attentive and staff in whole very friendly!

Have a place in the summer in Stevensville and while exploring stumbled across The Flying Mexican Taco which sits in Towanda along the Susquehanna River. It has outside seating both on the first and second floor and you can enjoy a wonderful meal and a delicious adult beverage while looking at the beautiful Susquehanna! This place really is a rare gem and I seriously consider if you’re up that way to stop in there and grab yourself a delicious Mexican meal as well as a delicious beverage.
If I could give more than five stars 100% they would get “Flying” Stars!

Went here while visiting my cousins and they forgot our order and it took an hour and a half to get everything. Was not a good experience.

This knocked my rating down but they went back back and said the service was much improved. The nachos were crispy and the queso was a delicious with a hint of spice. The quesadillas were cooked perfectly with the right amount of toppings.

Give it a try if you’re in the area.

This place is such a vibe, from the aesthetic decor, to the food. Great service. Absolutely will come back, and pretty close to Pine Cradle campground!! Definitely give it a try if you’re in the area!!

Great atmosphere and good food that is priced around what you’d pay elsewhere. Small menu and very limited for vegetarians but I found the Queso and Chips which I enjoyed. The chips are made in house and were nice and crunchy and not over salted. Husband had chicken tacos which he said were very good and Spanish rice. Overall very satisfied with the meal. The building/decor is fun with lots of bright coolers and cool artwork. The seating is nice with outdoor options of a patio and upper deck.We ate inside but had a great view of the river because the garage doors were open, really cool. We really enjoyed the vibe of this place, and outside it’s dog friendly.

The atmosphere is fantastic. Great appeal to the eyes and walking in the food smelled so good.

For late afternoon they weren’t busy and there wasn’t a wait.

Service was interesting. The waitstaff was friendly enough, but in our time at the table (30 mins) we were helped by 4 people. Our initial waitress obviously hit the end of her shift and left. No introduction to the new waitress, which was the 4th person to help us. It was just odd.

Visually our food looked appealing, sadly the presentation was better than the taste.

The nachos were decent (we had 1 steak nacho and 1 smoked brisket). Missing jalapeños, but that’s ok. I don’t think we really had Pico de gallo on them either, as it was just diced tomatoes.
Fat man in a little coat was all around disappointing and a letdown; visually and by taste. Really the amount of food for the cost just missed the mark.
The kids taco was served with onions and tomatoes, which neither are listed in the menu, nor does my child like them.
The side of rice and refried beans (not pictured) weren’t worth their cost either. Both were lacking taste.

Over all super disappointing.

It’s a great outdoor summer hang out. The hours they keep are limited (establishment closes at 9pm), but it works well. Drink specials vary.
The menu is fresh, and you are able to see your food prepared; the kitchen is in full view 3/4 of the downstairs dining area. They have several live music nights, a rarity in the area anymore. No smoking in the premises.
Upstairs has an outdoor deck, and an inside eating and game area. A classic LONG hand-thrown shuffle board adorns the back wall.
Prices are reasonable and within range of post – pandemic pricing. Parking is a breeze, it’s right next to a parking garage, whubmch I believe is FREE.
It’s SICK how friendly the wait staff are. And equally knowledgeable. Friendly but never invasive or TOO familiar (IYKYK).
Our 40th high school reunion (TOWANDA, PA) was held in the open air area, outside in the lower level. Highly recommend the entire experience for small reunions, wedding parties, business meetings … Or just a relaxing night out – ask for Ann, the manager/co-owner!

Incredible find, food was amazing. Fat guy in a little coat as a rice bowl was amazing… I live 3 hours away, worth the drive! Don’t think about coming here, just do it. You will thank me later.
