My wife and I came here before a concert. We were looking for Mexican and came across this place.

We encountered a perfect meal experience here. The waitress helped us and others navigate through the menu, perfectly.

Once we ordered, my wife got the birria tacos and I got the burrito. Everything here was so fresh, authentic tasting, homemade and flavourful. My wife said this was by far the best birria tacos she’s had and everything about it was perfect. My burrito was packed full of ingredients, the cheese pull was amazing, and the salad was fresh and bright. The salsas were so awesome, and were homemade. Everything from the tortilla, to the salsa were made in house.

The atmosphere was themed as expected, not a lot of seating, but there were other patrons there. A little on the pricy side, but well worth it. Will definitely go eat here again and would recommend others to try this neighborhood joint.

Food is amazing. Would 100% recommend to others and we are definitely coming back. We had the enchiladas, quesabirrias and tingas. Canadian Mexican food is normally subpar, but this place is the exception. I didn’t expect a restaurant in this neighborhood, but it’s a hidden gem.

What a delightful surprise to find this little gem tucked into – literally – the corner of a little strip mall on Alexandra Avenue. Food was delicious, atmosphere delightful and festive. Our server was truly welcoming and friendly – added so much to our lunch experience.

Closest flavours to Mexico i’ve had in a very long time. Prices are cheap for the portion you get. Ordered the birrianachos and al pastor tacos; the flavors and fresh ingredients are to die for. Would recommend to anyone looking for real Mexican cuisine

Came for the birria tacos — you get three generously sized tacos for $24. They were really good; not quite the best birria in the city, but definitely a close second.

A very decent family owned Mexican restaurant. The server was extremely friendly and attentive. The food is very decent and it has homemade taste to it

They have three nice substitutes to meat, which can be great for a vegetarian.

The place is nice overall.

For a family of 5 we ordered two platters for $75 each, quality and quantity wasn’t all there. The food was missing flavour and portions were very small. Definitely a 2 person platter. Highlight of the restaurant was the server, she did an amazing job doing a multi-person job! Amazing service, thank you!

Disappointing at best. For Mexican food I thought the Flautas plate would wake up my taste buds more. (I’ve had ones at the farmers market and they were wonderful) Nothing seemed fresh & delish. Flautas were tough, almost impossible to cut w a knife. Rice was blasè, refried beans were okay. Menu said it was served with avocado and tomato, which in reality was one paper thin sliver of avocado, 2 very small!!! slivers of tomato. The server was friendly. At $60. for 2 people…Waaay overpriced.
