One of our favorite places to eat since 2000… we have been to Longhorns in Dallas, San Antonio, H-Town, McAllen, Laredo, Naperville IL, in Columbus GA…. Never disappoints. Today we are in Victoria TX… 1-9-26..

Refried fries? At 11 a.m.? Maybe they weren’t technically “refried,” but they tasted old—like the grease hadn’t been changed in a while. When the waitress came back around, I asked for fresh fries, and she said she’d get some. What I got were just as bad—only hotter.

The Chicken Parmesan was no better. Dry and greasy at the same time—something I didn’t know was possible. I ordered the smaller portion, and what came out looked like three tiny chicken nuggets. They didn’t taste much better either. Chicken isn’t that hard to cook, but smaller pieces should cook faster and fresher. These tasted anything but.

When the waitress dropped off the tab, she saw all the food still on my plate. I figured she’d ask why I didn’t eat it—but instead she asked if I wanted a to-go box. I definitely did not.

And then there was the seating. When I walked in, the hostess asked “how many,” I said “one,” and she offered a tall table. Fine. But then she started leading me toward the bar. I quit drinking 10 months ago, and sitting surrounded by bottles and drinkers is not where I want to be. I asked not to sit there, and she gave me a look—then walked me back to the front without a word. I apologized quickly, saying I’d rather not sit at the bar, but she never acknowledged me. The same cold, dismissive vibe carried through as I walked past her again.

If they fix those issues, I’d give the place another try. But as it stands, it wasn’t a good experience.

Dined in a few times recently and it was all really good. First time I got a steak with a sweet potato, everything was cooked well and tasted delicious. Server was polite.

Got misgendered a few times because people don’t believe me but its ok I know who I am.

Sat at the bar a few times and it was nice: made a conversation with a nice gentleman. The chocolate stampede is really yummy. Also, the bartender gave me a bread loaf to take with me to go.

Restaurants decor is nice and the atmosphere is nice. Located out by Murdochs at the mall.

Overall good new steakhouse if you’re sick of Texas Roadhouse.

We went Friday before Valentines… I dont post many reviews BUT in this case I have to. I have cooked 100s of steaks from Waygu to Akaushi etc… and the Porterhouse I had was EXCELLENT! Cooked rare plus it was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. Perfectly cooked and seasoned and there was not 1 bad bite on that steak. Every bite was delicious and melt in your mouth tender. Whatever y’all are doing keep it up. 10 out of 10 all day long. Great steak!

Best steakhouse in Victoria, hands down. The wait was reasonable and everyone were polite. Our waitress did a great job and the manager stopped by briefly to check on how our meal was going. We were served bread and butter to start, always a favorite. I enjoyed the Texas Tonion appetizer and the dipping sauce was tangy and delicious. I ordered the ribeye with a salad and brussels; it was cooked perfectly. The brussels were awesome, charred to perfection with a bbq taste to it.

Wait time on a Saturday night was about 10 min. There are seats in by bar and in door. The hostess was really nice that seated us! Dalaynie was great! She was perfect in attending to our order, drink refills and bring food out while warm!!!
Our food was very delicious!! Cooked just right, baby back ribs fell right off bone!! Pork chops were perfect!!
The restaurant is large, plenty parking, located in front of mall.
I’m not sure why this place is rated so low, Customer service is on point and food is really delicious!
If you was unsure, try them!!! It is definitely on my return list, and ask to sit in Dalaynie section, she’s super!!!

I have been here twice and wanted to leave a review after the first time. But i think it is important to give a place a second chance before you give a bad review. Particularly in nowadays where a lot of places close or are quite run down its important to appreciate businesses that open. On my first visit i ordered lobster tail and fillet. In my view the core requirement is to get the grading wright. But as some others described too it did not work out. The medium rare was more medium well, i think you should not kill twice ( thats a german saying, dont know whether it translates well). And the meat itself was rather tasteless, However the second time was very different. I told the waiter about my first experience and she made sure the steak came as ordered and asked to cut it to make sure it is for me too. Everything was very good, i this time got the ribeye which to me tasted much better. And i can recommend the Oktoberfestbier, the real one is light and not brown as the Longhorn version but still very good. Undortunately one can only give 4 or 5 stars, if i could i would go for 4,5.
