Had a wonderful meal here for my birthday with lots of friends and everyone found something they liked (including those with dietary restrictions) and were all really happy with their food! Very reasonably priced and the Tom Yum soup was amazing. Staff were lovely and very accommodating – highly recommend this restaurant. We have ordered takeaway from here too which was also lovely!

This is one of the most authentic Thai restaurants I’ve had in the UK.The restaurant’s decoration is mainly wood, which feels very high-end. When you enter the restaurant, you feel like you are in Thailand. It is very special.We ordered a cocktail recommended by the owner. It tasted sour and sweet and was very appetizing.The restaurant has a homemade fish cake that tastes very good and has a great texture. I highly recommend it. I also love their Pad Thai, which is definitely one of the best in the UK Thai restaurants. The owner is also very friendly. Normally you can’t choose the spiciness, but here you can adjust the Thai curry to your preferred spiciness. Finally, their Tom Yum Goong is a must-try. You won’t get it outside often.

After a hard day’s graft, ordered food through just eat, waited for nearly an hour, only for the restaurant to phone after they have closed to say they have an issue with Just Eat and that I need to cancel my order, the restaurant guy on the phone said that they feel that Just Eat aren’t paying them enough?, to which i replied why are you on Just Eat? Im sure the food and restaurant service is normally good, however this is poor service and should remove themselves from Just Eat, and it was too late for me to want to place another order elsewhere, massively disappointed

It was a unexpected date to Fah Thai, with no expectations.The food was delicious . We ordered Chicken Tom Khar Soup,Chilli beef,Pork Green Curry, Thai Jasmine Rice & a Chicken Egg noodles. Right from the soup to main course they didn’t compromise on the taste, everything was flavour full and is served in a decent portion. In total it came to £37, which is definitely worth the money spend.
The members at the restaurant is very welcoming & they do give suggestions according to your taste buds. The interior is so cozy & well maintained. We really enjoyed the food.
Will definitely come back to try other Thai dishes & recommend to everyone.

Lovely food, and cater for vegans which is an added bonus for us. Kind and attentive staff. Good value for money. Tom Yum was my favourite.

Service was great – didn’t have to wait long despite being busy (eat out to help out), Mocktails were great, fish cakes and satay were surprisingly good, main dishes were flavourful. Duck leg was huge. Will be back to try other dishes and the cocktails. (Jasmine rice was a tad bit expensive for me but I let it pass since it was a good night).

First time visit of Fah Thai and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious and felt authentic and the cocktails were well made and (went down a little too quickly too). The staff were so friendly and lovely, had a fabulous evening there and can’t wait to take our friends there to experience the food. If you’re looking for a good Thai restaurant, look no further! Only took 1 photo as I wanted to dive in and eat!

This is a fabulous place, the owner is great also. I have been coming here a long time as well as many takeouts. The flavours are excellent and good portions too. The one thing that stood out for me though is they opened up on Christmas Day evening just for us two!! Glad they did as they got a whole night of walk ins as well! For their loyalty to us I will always be loyal to this fine restaurant.

Visited last week for the first time. Very efficient and friendly waitress. Dishes beautiful! Really enjoyed the cocktail too! Lovely interior. I have tried four other Thai’s in Southsea, but I think this has to be my favourite – I regret leaving it so long to try. My only slight criticism, on the Monday half way through the meal, next door (the barbers) must have had music on as it was thudding through the wall spoiling the ambience.

Nice Thai restaurant. Service was a little slow, but worth the wait for the great food. The cocktails were nice too! I’ve been to a few Thai places and this one had a big menu as you’d expect and a few different dishes. Really enjoyed it here.
