Great breakfast diner!
I ordered the breakfast burrito, with a side of bacon and a fruit bowl for my picky eater kid. The staff were very accommodating to add strawberries after I asked ☺️

I had the half order biscuits and gravy combo. Overall the food was pretty good, but it took absolutely forever to get, nearly 40min from the time I sat down. Hopefully just due to the oyster festival that day and not a recurring theme.

Ordered breakfast to go, added bananas to my order and got home and noticed the bananas were not included even though I was already charged. Called the phone number listed and went to voicemail for De Asian. First time ordering from this place. Although the food was pretty standard, alright, being charged for food I didn’t actually get not a great first impression.

I was likely the first person of the day to dine with you, and the coffee and food were great!
Unfortunately a smell I have seen mentioned in a couple of posts was strong and almost unbearable at 7:15AM. (It wasn’t me, I checked…) Perhaps it was the the bathroom, bleach, the carpet, or a combination of both?
I imagine when the place is full it is less noticeable. Yet because 75-95% of taste is smell, and bad smells unconsciously make people annoyed, I suggest checking this out and perhaps adding some smell diffusers. You could even go full “Disney Park” and get machines that pump out a rich diner smell!
I suspect you will get many more 5 star reviews, not to mention it will be easier to keep staff. I have had complaints about employers in the past but didn’t say them because I need my job, right?
Please don’t take my word for it though. This is intended as constructive criticism. Perhaps bring three trusted friends who are not accustomed to the place in the early morning as an independent assessment.
The food was great! I’ll come back in a month or so to try it again, and I am certainly open to editing this review. Good luck!

We have been looking forward to trying this breakfast spot in Anacortes. Good and not-so-good. Nice place, took time to enjoy the photos. Quick and pleasant service. Not very busy on a Wednesday morning. I had half homemade biscuit and gravy with eggs and hashbrowns. Cooked perfect, gravy was good, biscuit was hard as a rock. Clearly several days old. I don’t understand why a restaurant believes they can get rid of old biscuits by putting some gravy on them. Very disappointed. My wife had the classic American breakfast. Hers was very good and she enjoyed them. I had coffee. Much better than average. Wife had hot tea. Tea was done right. Hot water in cup, more hot water in medium size metal pot. Nice selection of teas. We will go back, but I’ll try an omelet next time.

The food was very good and service was fast. I had the cheese omelette and country potatoes and my husband had the country fried steak. It’s nice to have options in the area. Will definitely come back.
