This place use to be great, but they’ve been getting worse and worse over the years. Now the phone rings for minutes, then when someone answers they put you on hold for a few minutes. When they eventually get to you they’re rude.
The sandwiches are sloppily put together, portions are small and overpriced, and there’s enough dust in the air vents to choke a donkey.
Someone please open a new bagel shop in Keyport, this one has gone to hell.

I don’t even know where to begin…. it’s poorly organized. The staff is incredibly rude. The food‘s not even worth the stop. They never answer the phone. The people wrapping up the bagels and packaging are very unhygienic
. I keep trying this place hoping that it’ll get better each time but unfortunately I am disappointed. Save your money and time and go somewhere else.

If u want a random order or ur order to be completed messed up this is the place for you. I have attempted so many times and given planet bagel so many chances. Everytime I order i specifically say “no butter” “i have a dairy allergy” and im sure u can guess what i receive. A bagel drenched in butter. Its ridiculous, its evrytime i come here. ordering off of doordash is even worse. i would order egg and porkroll on a bagel. then again say no butter i have a dairy allergy and what do they do? put butter AND take off the egg. in what universe are eggs dairy? i mean really its the simplest thing. if people in the kitchen cant read orders and make them correctly then maybe they shouldnt be in the kitchen. i am done coming here it is a complete waste of time every single time i come there.

Worst service ever, every-time we come to order on the phone no answer and then when you go inside to order there will be 7 workers and they just stare at you and don’t answer the phone nor take your order. Hairs in the food multiple times this place needs to a big change in the atmosphere ASAP

Quite possibly the WORST RUN bagel store in Monmouth County!!! 40 minutes before anyone EVER answers the phone, THEN, they pick up n say “please hold”, while just setting the phone down, so you can hear the incompetence!! Get staffed!!!! Assign people to answer the phones, get into the 21st century with your phone system!!!! Close your doors and sell the business to someone that KNOWS HOW TO RUN IT!! ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC!!

Really good cinnamon raisin bagels. Their sesame bagels are perfectly cooked. The service was excellent and the place is spotless. Great parking. Grab a bagel and take it down by the water to enjoy.

So I walk in and the first thing I think is wow. Very modern and trendy vibe. Bagels and meats on display in large cases. Meat was in individual trays which was a big thing for me, meat slopped on a counter doesn’t even give me the butcher shop vibe. The staff seemed a little tired but inviting nonetheless. The pumpkin cream cheese I sampled, godly. As I threw out the spoon, I noticed just how clean the place was. Now to the good stuff, what I ate. I ordered an egg, spinach, mushroom, cheese, and potato on a toasted pumpernickel. It was good. They want you to taste all the ingredients. The red potatoes were a nice touch. Overall good experience…except I didn’t get a napkin or spoon/knife for the pumpkin cream cheese.
