I come here more than I should for lunch. I enjoy the food I order, but have had some mixed luck with service. I’m happy when I see Sarah working the drive thru. She gets my order correct and is always cheerful and friendly. I probably would have quit stoping here a while ago if not for her.

Meat is dry. Turkey is even worse. Employees have an attitude problem with poor customer service. They also have a hearing problem not taking orders correctly. Most if not all tables were dirty along with floors. C’mon Bushland, Tx location you can do better.

They didn’t add my bbq sauce. Was mad because it was close to closing time but a friend came in after and everything was ok. I guess if you are a friend it’s ok to come in close to closing. Horrible attitude from main guy. He was very aggressive towards helper. Helper was very nice.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The customer service is consistently terrible, with most employees sitting in the back instead of helping customers. We tried ordering okra, and it was out of stock. Then the green chili burger that they advertise everywhere, they didn’t have the patties. Finally, we asked for a baked potato, and the only one left was completely black and spoiled, yet they still tried to serve it.
To make matters worse, the staff had poor attitudes, mumbling into their headsets and acting as though we were an inconvenience. This is not an isolated incident, it’s the fourth bad experience we’ve had here. Clearly, this location needs serious management intervention. Very disappointing.

We have eaten here many times on the way to and from Colorado. Typically, it’s quite good…today was an exception. The brisket was basically inedible. Dry, tough, chewy…clearly past its prime. It’s a bbq place…if the meat is no good, you close the store for that day. Full stop. I won’t take that risk again. So long Mitch’s!

Beans and Green chilli mac/cheese is outstanding. However don’t get the jalapeño poppers, definitely not worth the price. Poppers are tasty, but extremely small, over cooked and pricey. I can make 8 full size poppers for thier price of 3 half ones.

Got home with my meal, opened the box and this is what was in it. Love their food but you really have to check your meal if you are getting take out. This is not the first time something like this has happened. We have had missing deserts, bread so hard you couldn’t eat eat and now this. Pretty expensive two meat meal to get just this

This is not the quality of barbecue you expect at a gas station restaurant. I was really impressed – it is spot on – I had delicious brisket with tasty green chilli mac and cheese and beans and Texas chips. They have their own bbq sauce in help yourself bottles along with pickles and chilli peppers. Decent beer selection too. Very happy customer here.

I live in area and have been here numerous times. I have waited to make review hoping things would improve. They haven’t so here is my review. Service is always slow. Always out of the food I want. I am luck to get all of the food I asked for. The place is not that busy and most of the staff are hanging out and laughing it up most of the time so there is no reason to wait 10 min for a drive through order. Food tastes good but not worth the service.
