I had such a great experience here! The food was delicious and came out fresh, and the flavors didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere was lively with really good vibes — perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The service was friendly and made the night even better. Definitely a hidden gem and a lovely experience at Roasted Breadfruit. The food is delicious and outstanding. The black cake was the icing on the cake, absolutely spectacular. The atmosphere is relaxing and quiet, a great spot to come with loved ones. Everything was spot on including the wonderful service! I will be back!

Great Caribbean BBQ spot on route 15 South! Came here hangry on a Friday afternoon. The brisket was my absolute favorite. Mac n cheese was really special too. Lots of different cheeses in there. Probably. Also. This place is BYOB. So no alcohol unless you bring it yourself. Which is fine. They had some fun mocktails and a bunch of Caribbean sodas.

Rasta pasta tasted like it was over peppered so much that we couldn’t eat it. Mac and cheese tasted ok definitely not like the pictures but may be because we ordered to go. Rum cake but definitely not a Caribbean tasting rum cake. $90.00 meal for food we couldn’t eat much of is a bit much but I’m glad others enjoyed it

Delicious Caribbean BBQ Fusion. Everything we had was amazingly delicious. The smoked brisket was so tender and flavorful. The pulled pork was tender as well. The house made mango bbq sauce is out of this world and I wanted it on everything. Lots of options for individual plates or family style. Sides were great like potato salad , corn ribs. Big salads and good dressings. Appetizers were just as delicious with a Jerk shrimp Bruschetta and fried pickles. Service was amazing friendly and fast. Plenty of bar space or eating space upstairs with a couple TVs for sports.kids menu with chicken fingers , fries and mac and cheese is a good option. I’d like to go back and try lots of other items.

My family and I loved this place. Solomon our server was very personable, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the food and Caribbean culture. We tried a variety of smoked meats (brisket, ribs, jerk chicken, and pulled pork). All were tender with a nice smoky flavor. The sides were wonderful as well. Mac n cheese was cheesy and tasty. Potato salad was very fresh and flavorful. Coconut rice was simple, but delightful. Blueberry cornbread and plantains were delicious too. You can order family-style or individual meals. Definitely going back!

I drive by this restaurant almost every day and finally got a chance to try it. Boy was I happy – it’s the best bbq in NJ! Love that you can get traditional Texas style bbq with a twist of the Caribbean. We had brisket, chicken, loaded mac and cheese, and extra brisket.
The meal was amazing. We left full but not overloaded despite eating a large meal.
Inside was nicer than I expected – cozy and comfortable. The staff – all family, were super nice and helpful.
My only suggestion is to add some vegetarian options. Some of the sides qualify, but it would be nice to see a main vegetarian dish so I can visit with my vegetarian friends.
