place in the area and honestly No competition. If somebody thinks otherwise, go ahead and show your worth because I ain’t seen it yet.
I been sliding through here for a minute now and the food is straight heat baby. That strawberry cream egg roll with the powdered sugar?? Boy… that joint should be illegal. I usually grab wthe chicken plate, sometimes I’ll switch lanes and grab the beef… either way that whole plate is gone before I even can blink twice…
And the vibe? The culture, the creativity, the swagger the staff got? Smooth. Real people making real food. Now look at that plate… no, deadass look at it. Tell me you don’t wanna pull up right now… (if you don’t like their housemade yum yum sauce they can put it to the side)
Stop giving your money to giant chains with mid food when these hidden gems out here cookin’ like THIS. Support the spots that actually deserve the praise.
As for the food, I’d rate the egg rolls a 5 out of 10. I ordered the Crab Rangoon Egg Rolls (2), Vegetable Fried Rice, and Shrimp Fried Rice. Unfortunately, there were no real vegetables in the rice — just corn and shredded carrots — and it wasn’t seasoned, so it tasted a bit bland. I’m also not a fan of yum yum sauce, but that’s just personal preference.
I would eat here again, mainly to try the different egg roll flavors. However, they could definitely improve their fried rice recipe to make it more flavorful.
The shrimp is marinated in some kind of yummy sauce (pretty sure they call it YumYum sauce), over a bed of fries, what are they doing to these fries?? And that three meat fried rice plate.. grand slam, Rollup crew!
Will definitely return, ordering more food right now. And five out of five stars, this food is incredible!!
The fries had great flavor and were cooked perfectly, but they were unbelievably salty. We literally had to shake the salt off just to eat them, and even then they were still very salty.
The steak egg rolls were good, and the crab rangoon was okay. The chicken rolls didn’t have much flavor. All of the rolls were generously filled and fried nice and crispy, but they were dripping in oil, and the centers were only slightly warm rather than hot.
After ordering, we waited a bit while the food was prepared. It appeared the same person was working the register and cooking. Unfortunately, he wasn’t very personable and was wearing noise-canceling headphones, which made interaction minimal. He also informed me after the fact that they didn’t have enough steak and cheese to fulfill my order and had substituted one with chicken instead of asking if I’d prefer something else.
The cleanliness of the restaurant was also disappointing. The ceiling had noticeable stains, the trim along the walls and door frames was collecting dirt and grime, and even the back of the register computer looked dirty. It just didn’t feel well maintained.
My kids did love the steak and cheese rolls…though sadly we didn’t receive as many as we ordered. Overall, it was a bit of a letdown, and while there were some positives, we probably won’t be back just for those as it was really expensive for what you get. $36 for 8 egg rolls and two orders of fries.
I tried crab Rangoon egg rolls, chicken fried rice with yummy sauce and dessert rolls, peach and banana pudding. Y’all are missing out if you haven’t tried it yet. Seriously good meal.
Wings were somehow burned, soggy and cold.
Fries we’re obviously cheap frozen fries (that did not match photos).
Fried rice tasted as good as frozen meals you get at the grocery store.
Not worth the money or time in my opinion. Food was prepared quickly so service gets 4 stars.
