We really enjoyed this place. We had the fried chicken sandwich and steak salad. Both were good. The pretzel loaf was a little disappointing. It was pretzel roll cut in pieces for $7. Server was not knowledgeable about the beers. Otherwise, we had a good experience. I would definitely recommend this place.

Circa is bumping almost everyday I call in or I walk past because of 2 things; they do a happy hour that’s terrific value and they do great food. You get me in for the $5 drafts, you keep me with the super tasty flat breads. Don’t sleep on the rest of the menu though, the Short Rib in particular is exceptional. This is a rare place that strikes a really good balance between price and quality and the fact it’s regularly as busy as it is shows that.

I’ve been back multiple times, and Janee is a huge reason why. She’s an amazing bartender—super friendly, kind, and always professional. She really makes you feel welcome every time. The food and the ambiance have consistently been great, and I honestly haven’t had a single disappointing dish so far. Went here for a dinner & drinks with colleagues after work. Overall, the server was excellent and very catering to us. It was a comfortable atmosphere. For the price, I was not overwhelmed with the food, the presentation was better than the taste.
We did order five different appetizers. The tuna nachos and the brussels sprouts were good! Definitely would come back here for a happy hour and appetizers, but probably not for dinner.

Visited here with family! Great outdoor seating in the heart of the city. All waitstaff were very kind and accommodating! Efficient service. I would say that while the food was good, most of it was under-seasoned. A little salt would go a long way for several dishes. Nothing super inventive, but was kind of expecting a chain restaurant dining experience. Overall good, not great.

We had a great meal at CIRCA today! We had been to the Foggy Bottom location a few years ago, and saw this location on our way to the metro. We stopped in for a late lunch and the service was prompt and friendly. The spinach salad was wonderful and the waitress double-checked if I wanted a protein on it, which was great since I had forgotten to ask for chicken. My husband’s chicken sandwich was also delicious. We were both pleased with how perfectly the chicken was cooked. We will be back!
