In line with everyone else on here, this authentic little hole-in-the-wall Mexican place hits the spot. A solid list of choices, good prices, good service, and quality food.
I had two gorditas and a can of Coke. They’re basically deep fried tacos with beans, lettuce, cheese, sour cream and your choice of meat. Try them when you need a change from tacos.

Another place with great food & horrible service. Stood around today for 25 minutes after I paid before they told me they’re out of the thing I ordered. Not sure why this is a theme in Forest City but I’m OK with cooking at home if this is what I pay for at restaurants.

Originally I tried to order the enchilada assuming that it would come with rice but no it was just 5 enchiladas on a plate and then you have to buy the rice separately. I then ordered a steak quesadilla and as you can see it came with all of maybe 10 chips, 7 of them broken. No salsa or cheese served with the chips. So I guess you’re just supposed to eat them dry? Tomato slices instead of diced. Very light on the ingredients. The tortilla was undercooked and floppy. Very bland. Had to ask for extra seasoning. I was hoping for that authentic Mexican flavor, but I was extremely disappointed. Our seating was inches away from the toilet. Will not be returning. Do not recommend.

Been there 2 times. There food is really good. You can eat in their little dining area or take it to go. Its pretty good deals. I just ordered for a few people both times.

Best Mexican food around that I have found to be the most authentic since I’ve moves here from Texas. It isn’t the only Mexican food restaurant around here but it is the best by far. Staff is always friendly and more than happy to bring your food to your vehicle while you wait. Inside seating is scarce but it doesn’t effect the experience.

The best and most authentic Mexican food you will find!! Never had anything that wasn’t amazing from here. Tortas with al pastor is my favorite go to but the beef stew on Sat and Sun is sooo go too! They do have daily specials that are not on the menu they’re happy to tell you about if asked the also occasionally have birria and let me tell you it’s good
