The food is ok. The service was mixed reviews. The tall young man that first served us was rude and annoyed with my order. The older hispanic man with the clear glasses was amazing; he gave great customer service and was very friendly. I would recommend this place just because of his excellent customer service.

Invited my parents out to lunch and my dad picked this place. My picky eater son said he’d give it a try. After his meal he said it was like Chipotle but better. More options on how to have your meal.
Step 1 – pick how you want your Mexican meal displayed. Tacos, burrito, nachos, quesadilla, bowl
Step 2- pick your protein. The pork is really good but I decided to try the beef in my quesadilla. I’m pretty much a creature of habit and choose chicken but I was living on the edge and changed it up
Step 3- choose what goes in it. Pinto or black beans, cheese, lettuce, pico, salsa, guacamole, sour cream. Certain items come with your meal, some are extra.
It’s a huge meal and I was surprised my son devoured his entire burrito in 5 minutes but he loved it.

Lousy food for the price. Had enchiladas with rice n beans and sauce and it was not cooked or cheese was not melted and the rice n beans were cold. Price for single enchiladas and combo was over $16.92 with tip never again coming here sorry!!!!

Long time customer here and after that experience never again. We through all our food away it was tater very old, almost past dates rotten. Also the cashier needs to go back to school for basic math and common sense. She was the worst even the food was terrible that young lady just wow. I was treating my employees for a holiday lunch and just wow. Sad that Cafe Rio Corporate allows this to happen.

Rice was way underdone. Hard and not edible. I don’t think there is a good excuse for this. This should be something they have figured out a long time ago. I spent over $30 for 2 burritos to be delivered and I couldn’t enjoy it. I wish this didn’t ruin it, but it did.

If you’re a Cafe Rio fan then you know what the food taste like. However, there are some differences between the original restaurants in SLC and the CA locations. Ultimately, they are not competitively priced anymore. If you live by the beach this location is not as convenient because it is across the street from the Home Depot on Warner, but it beats going to Costa Mesa.

The food was excellent! They are a similar style to Chipotle, but in my opinion, better!! I loved the burrito bowl I got. The blueberry lime drink was excellent, too. Very friendly employees and nice atmosphere, very clean and inviting. Comfortable seating.
