Ordered three meat tacos with carne asada, pollo asado and carnitas, mixed order. Went “super” with cheese, guacamole, sour cream, lettuce and tomato. Each taco was well filled, with the meats chopped and layered under the toppings. I gave them a generous squeeze of fresh lime. Added pico de gallo on the side and tortilla chips with guacamole. The pico was fresh, bright and sharp. The guacamole was chunky and avocado-forward, with visible onion and seasoning, not blended smooth. Everything tasted fresh and peppy, and I’d go back without hesitation. Great value too.

Counter service setup with large menu boards behind the line and several staff working. Ordered, picked up from the counter, found a table. In and out in about 20 minutes.

Visited on a sunny Saturday afternoon after a local recommendation. Indoor seating available, though it is geared mainly towards takeaway. Easy to spot corner location at Valencia and 17th. Bike parking right outside. I walked over from 16th St Mission in around five minutes.

Afterwards walked up to Dolores Park and took in wide open city and bay views from the higher end.

Authentic Mexican foods. Clean and spacious. Reasonable prices. Foods were ok. But they need to improve their service. I was there in non-peak hours weekday, and there were only 2 customers included me. I was the only one standing at the counter to wait the servers taking my orders. No greeting, no one asked me what I wanted. After 10 minutes wait, finally they took my order but the service was slow and the server was impatient when I asked them to repeat what they said.
Not sure if I would come back even though I wanted Mexican foods in Mission.

Hands down one of the best taquerias in the mission. Delicious tacos, super fresh ingredients, very clean. Service is extremely quick and kind. They make you feel at home. And prices are extremely affordable. Unbeatable price/quality, 10/10

VERY affordable with INCREDIBLE food! Mild salsa was the best I’ve ever had, and the spicy is pretty spicy (white person on fire spicy). Great spot. Only downside is it can be pretty loud in there to hear what the staff is asking you. Lovely spot tho!

This place has their happy hour on the weekends from 2-5pm. Tacos are $1 as well as agua frescas! Pretty sweet deal. I was just disappointed by the way the tacos are served. It’s just not very authentic to my taste. The flavor of the meets was okay. Pastor and birria was my favorite. Carnitas were too dry
Also be aware that because you are paying so little they will put VERY little meat. What else can you expect from $1 tacos?
Agua frescas were pretty good!
They also include chips with your order
Parking is paid on the streets. Because it is the mission, it can be a struggle to find parking.
I don’t know if I would return here, even if its $1 tacos. The portions are so little that you still end up eating probably double of what you usually eat

Tasty and inexpensive Mexican fast food near Valencia. Wish the food could’ve been prepared fresh (the meat in the tacos were a little dry and nacho chips were cold) but overall everything tasted good and delicious for the price we paid.

The birria tacos were the best thing I ate that week the first time I had them and the agua fresca is refreshing and delicious! All for a fantastic price, too. Staff is also very nice. Giving 4 stars because the birria wasn’t quite as good the next time i came.

Best burritos right in the Mission neighborhood with friendly service, affordable price, tasty, and fresh. I love the casual neighbor atmosphere in this small beautiful space. You get good quality food for less money in a great ambiance right off Valencia Street.

I really liked their carnitas quesadilla. The fish tacos were so so but their meat options are really good, quick and cheap.

Increíble spot right on Valencia and 17th. Happy hour, 3-5pm, M-F, $1 tacos and $1 aguas frescas.

So much flavor and variety. Each taco comes with beans, choice of meat, and salsa – plus chips!

The Al pastor and chicken asada are delicious. The tofu ranchero is also amazing.

Highly recommend!
