Visited Playdium Fairview on a very busy long weekend Sunday afternoon. First, credit where it’s due — the $20 value deal (one hour of free play plus a kids meal with drink and fries) is fantastic and honestly one of the reasons we chose to visit. The entertainment side was fun and the kids were excited.
Now for the part that needs attention.
The food was unfortunately very disappointing. The pizza was bland and dry, the burger was served lukewarm, and the nachos quickly turned into a mushy mess because everything (cheese sauce, salsa, sour cream) was poured all over. Even worse, the cheese sauce and chicken pieces were already cold when we sat down. For a place catering heavily to families and children, this is totally disappointing. Thankfully the kitchen manager issued a refund for the nachos ($25)
Service also left a poor impression. While waiting for a cleaned table, staff appeared to assume the mess was ours and walked away without clearing it, leaving us awkwardly standing there with kids and trays. Not the most welcoming experience.
The men’s bathroom had no toilet paper in any stall, which required asking multiple staff members to resolve. That’s the sort of basic maintenance detail that really shouldn’t slip.
The fountain drinks were also noticeably off — Pepsi tasted like brown soda water with no flavour, and the iced tea was extremely diluted.
Overall, Playdium is a great concept with excellent entertainment value, but the food quality, cleanliness, and service consistency seriously detracted from the experience. I truly hope management tightens things up, because families are paying not just for games, but for a full, enjoyable outing.

Mariah was extremely helpful throughout the booking and planning process, patiently answering all our questions and making everything easy and stress-free. On the day of the party, Alissa did an amazing job managing our room — everything ran smoothly, and she quickly helped with any requests despite a busy schedule.
All the staff were professional and kind, and the kids had an amazing time. We’re very grateful and highly recommend Playdium for birthday parties!

Playdium is a great place for kids — lots of fun games, bright lights, and a clean, lively environment. My family really enjoyed the play area.
The only downside was the food. The chicken strips and fries didn’t taste very fresh, and the oil seemed a bit overused. For the price, I expected better quality.
Overall, a fun place to visit, but the food could definitely be improved.

A great location and perfect for kids! If they get bored while at the mall, this place isn’t huge but it’s definitely enough to keep them busy. Pricing is reasonable, though a bit on the higher side. I like that they have lots of private rooms for parties, plus a food court area and bowling all laid out really well. The washrooms are clean and easy to access, and I always see staff wiping down and cleaning equipment. Overall, it’s a nice spot in the mall for good entertainment—great for families, friends, and parties.

Booked a timed party for my daughter today she and her friends had fun. The fries were ok but they said the pizza didn’t taste good. Another disappointment was that the wrist bands for my package didn’t allow them to play certain games. Brian our server was fun. Will be back just not for a bday party. Fun experience nonetheless

I held my daughter’s birthday party here and the team was so accommodating and professional. They were great with helping me find the right package, accommodating food allergies and our onsite host was great! I’ll definitely be hosting her birthday here again.

Took the kids to Fairview mall, didn’t know there was a playdium there till we were walking around , so decided to check it out. From the moment we walked in there the staff was very helpful and polite and the games were amazing and the atmosphere was clean, we did get lunch there as well and the food was amazing as well. Overall very happy with my experience will definitely be going back

some of the games are misleading and false advertising.
after winning a jackpot, on the screen it showed tickets won 1280. but upon reediming, it showed jackpot not won.
got advised that we only win the jackpot if the blue bar surrounding the number lands on the arrow. there are no instructions about this.
