Reviews
The Meadows was a cute hometown place that had good food and a very friendly staff. The menu was broad enough with a couple specials. My boyfriend had coffee and said that it was delicious.
We tried a Western Omelette and a Feta and Spinach Omelette. The eggs were not fluffy, but oddly very tasty. We would come back.
Waitress was very friendly and accommodating. The place had lots of history and a nice local vibe. Lots of families and you could tell that there were lots of “regulars”. We would return. Go check them out.
Honestly I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was fantastic experience from exemplary customer service to great food.
I ordered the Gyro melt with American and feta cheese and it was bursting with flavor. The Tzatziki sauce added another dimension and my taste buds were sent on a trip to paradise. The fries were really crispy as well
Western Omelette was outstanding. It was prepared perfectly and really well seasoned.
The Alaskan Waffle was pretty good, and the quality of the waffle itself is better than a good amount of restaurants I have been to. The Rice pudding was a perfect snack and treat to end the visit on.
Overall I would give this restaurant 4.5 stars. My only regret is that I unfortunately cannot remember the wife/waitress’s name. But the hospitality from her in the restaurant is one of only a handful of restaurants I have been to. The Husband and Wife team did a spectacular job. I will definitely be back
Update 7/1/20
My friend and I decided to revisit this establishment to get the dessert of the Alaskan waffles one more time. I asked them to make it extra crispy, when that was done it was on par with my favorite waffle Churro waffle from another restaurant.
I wanted to thank the amazing husband/wife team of Dimitri and Sofia and the waitress Chris for their exemplary customer service skills.
While waiting for my car to be serviced, decided to have breakfast. Chose to try this place due to it being less than 10 minutes away… what luck for me.
Had a recommendation from the nice lady, who was very busy (since she ran the floor by herself), yet still took time to help me choose my meal.
The food tasted great and there was more than enough. Can’t remember the last time I had the quality and quantity of food like that.
Even more pleased when I saw the bill.
Great value for your money.
Definitely a “locals spot” that gets filled up quickly, with limited hours (so make sure to get there early or just be lucky like me). Though I was obviously not a frequent customer, I was well attended to – never waited for coffee to be filled, condiments, etc.
If I didn’t live over an hour away, I’d absolutely go there frequently.
If you live nearby, you’re very lucky.
Sophia is the nicest ever. Jimmy is a great cook. Simple meals, reasonable prices, huge portions.
They also own the small laundry mat next door, so this is the perfect stop over for truckers !!
