Cashier was very nice, but the food was the worst i had in Augusta so far and I hate to say it because you want to give people the benefit of the doubt when reopening, But the ribs were so tough and pulled pork taste like light fluid! There greens and mac n cheese had no flavor! I was very disappointed spent $65 and threw the food away! We have to do better people if you open a place of business please take pride in your cooking! I didn’t go back for a refund or complaint because I like to support small business owners and just took it as a lost! Please do better people!

In town for the air show and was looking for a local barbecue joint! Saw this on Google Maps and it was just a few minutes drive from the hotel I decided to try it! I got the chopped pork plate coleslaw and potato salad! The port was finely diced up and didn’t have much of a smoked flavor at all! The saving grace was the homemade barbecue sauce! The potato salad tasted store-bought and the coleslaw was decent!

First time trying tonight. I’ll try again maybe in another 6 months. Ribs and Chicken needs to be much MORE tender. Collard greens had to much vinegar. I basically only enjoyed my potato salad.

I think I was exceptionally nice on a four point star I must say the meats was good. Definitely better then Chef Red in Augusta! Now what I didn’t care for was the sides. Macaroni and collard greens was ok. Just ok. Collards needed more soul and less vinegar. It give me can greens. Macaroni was cooked too dark for me. Where is the cheese! If I am ever in the area again. Definitely would give it a second chance
