Convivial, bright cafe serving classic breakfast & lunch fare with vegetarian & gluten-free options.

Classic beach breakfast place with a good variety of choices. Service was attentive and friendly. And I can’t believe the menu prices—what a great deal! And to all the other reviewers complaining about the service, don’t go there during the summer rush if you are in a hurry. I tried it again this week (Aug. 2025) and really enjoyed the healthy breakfast bowl special—scrambled eggs on top of grilled veggies, lettuce, tomatoes, and avocado.

Hannah G’s is such a homely restaurant with amazing food and vibe. We ordered so much for the two of us (2 veggie sandwiches, loaded waffle, hot chocolate and home fries) that all the staff wondered if we would actually complete everything, but the food was so delicious that we actually finished!

Breakfast was good!
Enjoyed the crème brûlée overnight French toast!
The home fries were tasty!
Service was good!
Back of the menu was a notice that they only accept cash!
And of course they had an ATM on site, with most likely a fee.
Typically don’t carry cash but had cash on hand!

Finally made it to Hannah G’s in Ventnor, NJ. Wowww. It was amazing. Crowded but we were seated right away. My husband had Sausage & Vegan Breakfast Hash, mushrooms, peppers, onions, zucchini, potatoes cumin & smoked paprika & Beyond Sausage. I sampled it and it was very good. I ordered the Blueberry Chia Pancakes (made with flax-egg, soy milk) served with maple syrup. I would have preferred no soy milk, but these pancakes were so light and yummy. I really felt great after eating them, not weighed down like I wanted a nap! So yay for the GF option! I can’t wait to go back and try the vegan shrimp tacos!! I’ve had vegan shrimp before and I liked them. They have lots of daily specials-so options for everyone. A very nice local breakfast/lunch spot!

If you’re looking for a breakfast spot that feels like home and serves the most delicious meals made with love, look no further than Hannah G’s. Nestled along the shore, this charming eatery goes above and beyond to make every meal special.
From the moment you walk in, the cozy, welcoming atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The staff treats you like family, always attentive and friendly. Trish, Cathy, Donna, Ra and even Kevin go above and beyond! But it’s the food that truly sets this place apart…
Each dish is crafted with care and creativity. Take their blueberry honey butter, for example – it’s a heavenly spread that elevates their freshly baked goods to a whole new level. And for those with dietary restrictions, their gluten-free banana bread with chocolate chips and cinnamon butter is an absolute treat. Every bite is a testament to the love and thoughtfulness they put into their cooking. Also amazing Vegan meals. Always check out the daily specials!
Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Hannah Gs, is a must-visit. It’s a rare gem where every meal feels like a special occasion. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back tomorrow!

Hannah G’s deserves some shade. Don’t get me wrong the food is great, and so this isn’t about that. However, their willingness to accommodate could be much improved. Multiple instances today where they chose not to help me out so I could give them my business.
1) Had a sleeping baby in my stroller, asked to eat inside with not a very busy restaurant. Was told “no” and the stroller would have to stay inside, so if I did decide to eat their I would have to wake my daughter. Tried to then eat outside to accommodate, however, they wouldn’t serve us outside. So we ended up leaving.
2) Figured maybe we would still order there, and just do it for pickup. Fast forward, had another sleeping child in the car. Simply asked if I could pay over the phone and have someone just run the food out to my car, they refused to help.
Long story short, don’t ever look for this place to go the extra mile for you, because they won’t. It’s such a shame when you’re in the service industry after all.

the service was incredibly slow for Monday morning, the waitress barely checked on us. I ordered an $18 breakfast bowl which consisted of 2 eggs, a small spoonful of sausage, a small spoonful of broccoli, and a small spoonful of moldy rotten sweet potato. I told the waitress they were inedible and I wanted home fries instead (which I was charged for) everything was incredibly underseasoned and bland. I would never come back to this restaurant and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I love that they serve Gluten Free food. They have a GF menu and even GF specials. As a celiac, it is difficult to find restaurants that can accommodate. Hannah G’s staff let you know what you can and can’t eat due to cross contamination too. Recently had the nectarine pistachio French toast, delicious. Recommend

Today was my first time at Hannah Gs
What drew me to here was the owners hilarious forward responses to the reviews. They match my personality. Anyway, I got Jake’s favorite omelet which was huge w the rye toast. Very fresh and cooked to perfection. Staff was very nice and welcoming and even the bathrooms were clean and had a beachy ambiance. Also, the herb infused hot sauce was really the icing on the cake. Street parking is not a problem here either. Thanks all!! Ill be back!
