Small family owned bar and grill. We love to see new faces and get to know every customer. We’ve met so many nice people that just happen to stop off the interstate. Everything is delicious here! I think the hand Breaded chicken strips are my favorite. Steak Kabobs on Saturday are a definite yes and pizza specials on Sunday to soak up everything you did to yourself on Saturday night!

We just moved to the area and still scouting out places. This one I heard about from others so we went and checked it out. Very friendly service, food came out quickly and hot. I had the horseshoe with the pork tenderloin, and he had a chicken burrito, he did not like his. That was more because there was a lot of lettuce and he would have preferred not to have as much. He did manage to steal a lot of my fries from the horseshoe. Excellent value for what you get.

Old fashioned bar and grill with a complete menu. Sunday fried chicken was excellent. Great down home atmosphere with attentive staff. A little off the beaten path but that’s what we like about it. We will definitely be back.

Stopped for the meatloaf special. Well, it was too special as it was sold out. So defaulted to the country fried steak, which was pretty good as well and huge portions. The lady working the bar was friendly, and the service was great. Just note, it’s a cash only bar. Lots of character

My wife and I have been eating at the Yellow Dog for the last several years. We live in Worden so it’s certainly the closest restaurant to us, but we’ve also really enjoyed it. IT IS CASH-ONLY! They have an ATM but remember your cash. Seating inside is limited, but it has surprisingly good bar food. My wife loves their shrimp Po boy, and I most recently was impressed with their pork tenderloin sandwich. Anyone who knows the Yellow Dog though will tell you that their wing night special on Monday nights during the summer are a must. The wing night special is year round, but they have live music and outdoor seating during the late spring through the early fall. The wings have about 8 or 9 different flavors and they’re all good. Service is usually very friendly and quick to respond. Definitely recommended for those who like a hole in the wall feel.

The food is amazing, for a hole-in-the-wall bar. The drinks are reasonably priced. I recommend stick to beer, I don’t know how long the liquor or mixers sit before they change them out. The only reason I’m docking stars is for the service. We come in on Saturday nights and there is 1 person working the bar and serving the restaurant. While she’s talking to us and taking our order, you can tell she has 100 other things running through her head. It isn’t her fault, she’s understaffed.

This is like a special little local restaurant where instead of being a customer, you just become family. The staff were right on top of everything and the atmosphere was very inviting. The food, though, was astounding! I’d definitely go back here when passing through! I ordered the Italian hot sub, I forgot the technical name, but man, was it delicious! Oh, and the “made in-house” ranch dressing is a must try!

The food is really good and the staff is always friendly. It’s cash only but there is an ATM available to use. The chicken wing special on Monday is a local favorite. They also have a couple TVs set up high to watch sports games on, and video gambling.
