Pizza Village is an icon in our small town. Here you’ll find locals getting together for a friendly family meal, just as their parents and grand parents did. Ball teams will often hold their post game dinners and teens come to enjoy time with their friends. Many a local teen had their first job here.
The place changed hands a few years ago when Mr. Pete retired, but the new owners and management kept the menu and old fashioned decor. Returning to a time erased in franchise restaurants, a visit to Pizza Village is a must-have experience for every visitor to Whitevile.

Where do I even begin? The pizza is a perfect match for my mom’s homemade pizza from my childhood. The spaghetti and meatballs are fantastic, and the salad bar has all the toppings you could ever want, always fresh. The waitress is always cheerful, attentive, and super accommodating to our keto diet. The atmosphere really takes you back to the 90s. I usually have something to nitpick about most things, but I can’t find a single thing wrong to say about Pizza Village.

Good food, atmosphere, and service. Drinks are also good, definitely the Tea. The pizza is thin, and cooked to perfection, crunchy and cheesy. The lasagna is also good. Overall 10/10. The service is also good, nice, welcoming, and overall very efficient.

The staff was friendly and very nice. The table I set myself at had condensation from the ceiling vent dripping on the table. I was offered to move if I wanted to. I stayed because I was a preferred table over a booth. The staff helped me reposition the table so the condensation didn’t continue to fall on the table while we were sitting there. The Pizza however just was not good to me it tasted more of a frozen pizza type taste. You can tell that the thin crust was premade…the toppings, they weren’t quality toppings. It just was not a good pizza. The tea my mama said was good, and the soda was good. The staff asked me how my meal was, I told him I did not like it… we ate a total of two and a half slices between my mom and myself, and the lady didn’t even ask me if I wanted her to discount it or anything. It was an okay experience, but I would never return because of the pizza….I could have saved some money and brought frozen pizza and put it in the oven at home.

My husband and I have been coming to Pizza Village since it opened many years ago. Pete the owner is a number one restaunteer. The pizza here is undeniably unique with just the right amount of sauce and cheese, with the best tasting toppings around. Not only does he serve the best pizza and freshest salads of anywhere in our opinion, he’s also a great fella. He knows his patrons and that means allot. He has always taken great pride and care in his pizza business. Highly recommend!
