Andrea was our server and she was attentive without hovering. She answered our questions, helped us with the menu, and checked in at just the right times. You can tell when someone actually cares about doing their job well, and she did.
Their famous red sauce is unbelievable. I asked for a little on the side just to try it, and it honestly tasted like it had been simmered all day. I’m not about to give away the whole flavor palette because that’s part of the charm, but let’s just say… perfetto.
I ordered Giuseppe’s Choice with shrimp and bay scallops over penne in a marsala and fire-roasted tomato sauce, topped with pecorino romano. I can see why it’s Giuseppe’s choice. It tasted light, clean, and really smart, with a mild seafood flavor that stayed fresh, and that hint of marsala sweetness pulled it all together. Nothing heavy, nothing overpowering. Just well thought out and well executed.
Mark ordered the Tour of Italy, which includes lasagna, chicken parmigiana, and stuffed shells. The chicken parm was cooked perfectly, juicy, and full of flavor. The portions were just right, satisfying without being overwhelming.
The side salads were fresh, and the bread was fresh and good.
The space itself is bright and comfortable, the kind of place where you can relax and actually enjoy your meal.
We’ll definitely be back.
The bread out of the oven was toasted to perfect.
Salad was enough to get started with fresh greens, spinach, cucumber, tomatoes, and crispy croutons
To start the wings were the right combination of CRISPY AND JUICY and spicy to your liking, including mixing sauces.
Ordered the Chicken Parm tonight which came out hot, crispy, tender, with a side of spaghetti. The sauce was a great touch of freshness that was definitely made with love. Topped with a small amount of parsley to give that dish a goodbye touch from the chef!
The Tour of Italy was made to the same perfection. Stuffed shell was a grat flavor with ricotta and the home made marinara.
Our server Melissa M. was on the ball with great smile, warm welcome, and a great laugh. The rest of the staff around are definitely too busy giving everyone amazing service, including small details the final touch.
Thank you all and job well done team. We will be back!!
The Genoa said it would come with tapenade, but instead came with whole olives. A tapenade (as we had anticipated from the menu) would’ve been better!
The restaurant has a huge menu with all sorts of grab and go, ready to eat pizzas and sandwiches already prepared. I appreciated that there were publicly posted pull times on each prepared item so you knew it was fresh.
Their desserts looked amazing also and will have to try one next time.
Everyone at the restaurant was very kind and welcoming. They also sold their own jarred spaghetti sauce.
Giuseppe’s has some boots to fill when it comes to replacing Cugini’s and the flavors they served up. They’re doing a nice job so far and I look forward to see how they grow into the space.
The employees are all very friendly. Our server was on top of everything – no waiting for food or refills. The atmosphere is pleasant and clean.
The prices are a bit steep. My wife ordered a pasta dish with chicken and on the bill it stated the pasta itself was $19 plus an extra $4 for chicken. She said it was alright, the chicken was not cooked fresh, but the dish was passable. Still $19 for a plate of pasta with sauce – its not the best value for the money.
And now we come to the ugly. I ordered the shrimp scampi which was to come on a bed of fettuccine. First of all, I’ve never been to an ltalian restaurant that served shrimp scampi that was breaded. The fettuccine was swimming in a greasy pool of butter which was not very flavorful, and then with the added shrimp the breading just turned into a big pile of mush. Sadly, it was not worth finishing so that was $26.00 wasted. If I were to make a suggestion as for improvement, I would prepare the shrimp in a traditional sauce (no breading) and serve it in its own small dish on a plate with either fettuccine alfredo, or perhaps spaghetti.
The restaurant is fairly new. The best restaurants take a little constructive criticism and adjust as they see fit. I would definitely eat there again: to try different dishes and see how future visits compare.
Ordered a soda and refills were brought before finishing the first one, well done…
