The food was excellent as was the atmosphere. We ordered different main course meals and everything was spot on in terms of taste.
However, i was amazed that our server didn’t know that the C&B burger had beef patty as the meat. I had inquired about it but the server confidently mentioned something else.
Did get to eventually try it as i saw the manager (probably) and asked him to which he confirmed that it was indeed a beef patty.
Also the order took a lot of time arrive so once you order better be ready to wait!

I will give the 5/5 since it looks cute and cozy inside the Crate and Barrel Store.
The taste of food is 5/5 but on smaller side and pricey. I had the branzino and it taste good. The short rib that my friend ordered is so tender, so is the lemon chicken. If you’re hungry I think it’s not enough .
The service 3/5. It would have been great if not for the server wanting us to leave right away, she is checking if we’re finished every 10 min. Till it gets so annoying. And we are still talking and eating our dessert. She said there is another reservation fo the table but there are other tables around.
No restroom on the resto since you have to go upstairs on the store.

I had such an amazing experience at The Table at Crate! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, modern, and inviting. Our server was absolutely phenomenal — friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect without ever feeling rushed.
The service was impressively fast, and every dish that came out was outstanding. The drinks were fresh and beautifully presented, and the food was bursting with flavor — from the crispy waffle fries to the perfectly seasoned entrées. Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and thoughtfully prepared.

Nice option at Oakbrook Mall. The outdoor seating could be a bit more comfortable. Service was good but we did have a 6 PM reservation at which time we were told that they actually close at 6 PM! They shouldn’t have let us make a reservation for that time if that was the case. We ordered the fries, edamame dumplings, charred salmon, and smoked salmon on toast. Our favorite was the charred salmon.

We visited The Table at Crate for a quick lunch, and it was a fantastic first-time experience! The food was absolutely delicious—my C&B Salad with chicken was fresh and perfectly balanced, the charred salmon over baba ganoush with fingerling potatoes was excellent, and the chicken sandwich was flavorful and satisfying. While the menu isn’t extensive, everything they offer is thoughtfully curated and high quality. Our server was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. I wished it was warmer so we could sit outside, but the casual atmosphere inside was great. Definitely a place worth returning to!

I loved the vibes and the food from this restaurant. They have a beautiful patio area to eat at and it was perfect weather for outdoor seating. I ordered the peach lemonade which was delicious and the Caesar salad was also good. I think an extra $7 for this little bit of chicken was a bit of a scam, but overall a great place to eat at if you’re shopping at the mall!

Visited The Table the first time this weekend and it was a truly enjoyable experience. They do not have a very extensive menu, however what they do have is done well. I ordered the C&B salad with charred salmon and my friend had the C&B burger with waffle fries. The salad was tasty and the salmon was cooked to perfection, however it could have used a little more salad dressing overall. The beef dumplings were crispy and flavorful and everything came out fresh, hot and fast! My espresso martini was ok, however I would probably try something else next time. My friend enjoyed her spicy guava margarita for sure! I probably wouldn’t make a trip to the mall just to dine here, but if you’re shopping at oak brook mall and want something quick and tasty, it’s the perfect spot! They also have a rooftop terrace section you can sit at upstairs, HOWEVER, it is not manned by a server, you order via QR code and they just bring it up. Hard to get suggestions or special request without interacting with someone. Super cute space which would be a hit if they can work in staffing it like the main floor. Plus the dishes that were set out in advance upstairs had gotten a little dusty so we didn’t stay upstairs. This wasn’t a problem downstairs as they don’t sit the dishes out in advance.
