I came to meet friends for a happy hour and wanted to grab dinner while we were there.
I ordered a steak and grilled cheese (added garlic salt to the bread) with a side salad. Both were phenomenal.
The atmosphere was modern and casual. You order food from a screen and pick it up from a window.

Great microbrewery that offers various lively spaces including a rooftop bar and a sidewalk terrace. Also, a game room and area for darts and other bar fun. Feels like a big city place and near the state university so I’m sure it a crowded younger crowd when classes are in session.

Super cute, clean place and photo booth is fun. Being dog friendly even inside was a huge plus for us. Love the wide selection of beers, and the very friendly bartenders. It does seem like the carbonation isn’t quite right on several of their lines, and the food is just OK.

Walking into Fiala Brothers was like stepping into a fun vacation spot! They had upbeat music, a wide selection of craft beers, whiskey, and cocktails, and a lively crowd. There were plenty of TVs showing different sports games, and you could hang out on the main level or check out their awesome rooftop bar.
We decided to grab a drink upstairs and ended up trying their amazing menu, which included gourmet cheese sandwiches and specialty macaroni dishes. We split a BBQ mac with a bunch of cheeses, and it was toasted to perfection – so delicious! Our neighbors had the Buffalo Mac and loved it too.
The atmosphere was really relaxed, with dog owners chilling with their furry friends while enjoying food and drinks. I’ve been to a lot of breweries, but this one definitely stood out to me. Located in uptown Normal, it had a great bar vibe and the rooftop seating was perfect for hanging out with friends and family.
Overall, it was a top-notch spot to spend an afternoon for us.

Great little place with some great beers in Normal Illinois. Stopped because I found them on the list of 2025 DrinkIL Summer Passport participants. Didn’t have any food (to rate food on here), wasn’t aware of what they had if they did have food available.

Cool space with the exposed brick & fun things to find like a photo booth, outdoor seats, skee ball. It was a learning curve to order from a kiosk and then go upstairs to the kitchen window – as first timers we did not know and our food was cold by the time we were told what to do. Would love to see more vegetarian options.

Fiala Brothers Brewery is a pretty new establishment in downtown Normal by the conference center and campus. The food is grilled cheese, sandwiches, soup, etc. It was all pretty tasty. Their beer was decent with a fair variety. I am going to be back in town on another trip soon and plan to stop in again.
Update: Stopped again. There upstairs area and patio are great. They still are maintaining 6 of there own beers with a solid guest list for 20 total beers, 2 ciders, a seltzer and a mead. Apparently these guys love Malort whiskey for some unknown reason but i won’t hold that against them. Service was friendly and imagine I will be back.

Fiala Bros is a one of a kind pub. It was my first time there and it was a great experience. The vibe and atmosphere are amazing and the beer brewed in house was delicious. The prices were also great what a brilliant idea to have a $2 smaller beer option. More variety and great food I love this pub.
