We had the Queso Fundido, which was sizzling and delicious! I had the Chimichanga Dinner, which was good! She had the Pollo con crema, which she did not enjoy. They just put sour cream over top of the chicken which she didn’t care too much for

Definitely not the best Mexican place I have been to, but decent overall.
The food was cooked pretty well, but I would say the taste of the enchiladas left something to be desired. If I were to rate the taste I would give the enchiladas a 2.5 out of 5, but the other parts of the dish were good (basically just refried beans, rice, and some iceberg lettuce). I might consider going there again, but only to order something else

The food was good but my menu was very dirty and all the prices had white out paint on them. The booth I was sitting at was pretty beat up as well. My whole meal was $13 dollars so that’s a plus. There is also outdoor seating under festive lights and decor. I’d recommend this place for a quick affordable meal but would go elsewhere for a date night. I left with mix feelings.

This is legit the best overall Mexican food around! Puts the big names to shame. Definitely get the chicken tacos on dollar taco night… You won’t be disappointed!
Edit : I am as carnivorous as it gets. IMHO, a meal isn’t really a meal without meat on the plate. HOWEVER, it is lent… Soooooo I, hesitantly, went with a vegetarian dish. I ordered the “Three Vegetable Enchiladas” to be exact. If you like Mexican food, YOU NEED THIS IN YOUR LIFE!

There is definitely not a shortage of Mexican restaurants, and we can all say they are generally “Ok” and pretty much the same. I try to find the joints that step up their game and try to be a little different. Plaza Agave is one of them! FRESH guacamole, delicious food all around, great menu options and value, and even good service is what they have consistently given us.

Food was delicious. Guy taking orders over the phone was directly under a loud speaker playing loud music, making communication harder than needed. They botched a flour tortilla substitution for corn, prolly because of this, but fixed it immediately. Inside is nice, outside is pretty beat with faded banners and half lit signs, which was not my best first impression as a new customer. People were nice and the food was quite good.

By far my favorite restaurant hands-down. I’ve been going here every year for my birthday and special occasions with my family and friends since I was a young teen, and it’s still as good as it was then. The best chips and salsa. I have been to so many Mexican restaurants and this one takes the cake. It has a cozy atmosphere, it’s clean, good food, fast service, affordable, and friendly staff. I still drive an hour to eat there when I can.
