This place was empty and we were pretty nervous about eating here but life is an adventure. The food and service was outstanding. Great place to stop in for lunch. Everyone enjoyed the food, music, and adult beverages in-between baseball games.
100.00 table charge.
And look what they gave us when we ordered food to go. Need I say more?
Once I got my tickets online I messaged them on Instagram and they reserved 2 seats for us by the bar since there were no tables available. Just note there depending on what part of the bar you seat you might not have a good view of the show but you can always walk and dance near the stage.
There’s street parking but you might need to park a few blocks away depending on how busy the bar is.
Overall we were satisfied with our experience and will definitely be back!
So recently, on St. Patty’s Day, my nephew and I went to Shawns for the event they had. It was an Irish band at 4 and later on that night some musicians straight from Nashville. Shawns has been undergoing renovation, and the changes are looking good. Where they once had a huge wall, that has been replaced by windows, giving the whole place a much more open ,spacious feeling. The music was great and they decorated the place very festively. They had special drinks, I had a Black and Tan which was Yuengling topped with Guennis stout. Looked good and tasted great. And in a big 20 oz glass instead of the usual size. My nephew had a cider which was served in the bottle along with a very frosty glass. Nice touch. We ordered mozzarella sticks that came with lots of sauce and looked beautiful topped with the green onion garnish that added to the taste. Plus a corned beef sandwich that was also pretty tasty and the bread was nice and buttery and toasted. Our bartender/ waitress was Rose, who was excellent , great memory and service. Interestingly, I left my purse in the bathroom ( ooops) and it was returned to the bar with nothing missing!!!!!! Thats always a nice ending lololol. The entrance fee was 15 dollars for the entire night, from 4 pm to 1am. Very reasonable. This is really shaping up to be a great place to go hear live music, drink reasonably priced drinks, and have a good time.
