Came here for lunch with MIL and two dogs and it was great! The food was delicious and our dogs were welcomed to stay outside on the patio, and they got plenty of attention from the man working. The menu has lots to offer, and the establishment is pleasant and clean inside. Would recommend!

SHAME ON THE OWNER. My husband & I have been customers since the opening of this business. Always great food and service. However, today the owner was extremely rude when asked to substitute mushrooms & peppers instead of fries with a sandwich. We were perfectly willing to pay extra. He stated he doesn’t have mushrooms and peppers even though they are offered on other menu items. He then proceeded to
throw his hat on the counter & said show me where on the menu. Rather than argue with him, the food was paid for without the requested substitution. I understand everyone has a bad day now and then, but you shouldn’t take it out on good customers. I hope the owner reads this review and corrects his attitude when dealing with the public.

Our first time here. I got half of a meatball sub, which was a much bigger portion than I expected, and my wife got the Mad River hamburger. Both were very good. The host came around making sure everything was to our liking. We’ll absolutely be coming back again, but this time I’ll be getting ice cream.

Great spot for lunch with real homemade ice cream in Wolcott. Located next to the Mad River with picnic tables and umbrellas to enjoy your meal and ice cream outside if you wish. Not that large a place for eating inside, but the menu has breakfast, lunch and dinner choices. Prices are reasonable and the portions are large. The owner is super friendly. Place is very clean with bathrooms inside. Handicap friendly with large, ramped entrance as well.
Milk from Cromwell is the basis for the ice cream. Great selection of flavors and the prices are reasonable compared to many of places that make their own ice cream. We tried the Salted Caramel Truffle, the Cool cookie mint and soft serve chocolate. YUMMO!

Very friendly staff including the owner. He was very attentive and even talked to our family. He came outside very happy when he saw I was taking a picture to my daughter with the cows. No photos of food, but here is my daughter, happy with the cows outside! The food was great, ice creams delicious, and the place is very family oriented. Going back for sure!
