This was my first time at LaMoon and it will not be my last. The food and drinks were delicious. If you like mussels they are a must try. My entree Mor din was also very good. Receiving the food was a bit slow but that would not deter me from coming back.
There is parking for $6 across the street which was convenient.

La Moon is a must do—our first visit was nothing short of outstanding! From the moment we walked in, the authentic music set the perfect dreamy dinner vibe, transporting us into a relaxed, joyful evening.

The drinks were a highlight: the Midnight Moon was delicious with stunning presentation, and the Lion’s Tail was incredibly refreshing—both cocktails we’d order again in a heartbeat.

For appetizers, the chicken gyoza were perfect—crisp, flavorful, and so good we immediately ordered a second round. The yellowtail carpaccio was spectacular, with flawless marination that melted in your mouth.

Dinner elevated everything: the grilled salmon with panang sauce was bursting with flavor, beautifully plated in a unique style, and perfectly portioned. The Kao Mok with steak was a winner too—paired with fragrant pineapple fried rice and a vibrant chimichurri sauce, it was comfort food done right.

Service was warm, attentive, and genuinely delightful. We were seated right away, and every staff member was super friendly, engaging, and full of great recommendations with clear expertise. They even made adorable faces at our 1-year-old, turning a family dinner into a heartwarming experience.

We’re already planning our return to explore more of the menu. La Moon delivers excellence in every detail—highly recommend!

We went here on New Year’s Eve and our experience was just okay. The ambience and service is wonderful, but the food is definitely lacking. The dumpling appetizer that has been so highly recommended is quite average- $9 for 5 average dumplings is robbery. My entree of the seafood pasta was honestly quite good. It had great creamy curry flavor and the seafood was cooked well. But my boyfriend’s pad thai was seriously lacking. It just did not have authentic pad thai flavor at all; there was no sweetness and no umami, just seemed like they threw some soy sauce and thai chili peppers and called it pad thai. I’m always wary of Asian fusion places since I question whether the food is actually going to be good, and unfortunately this fell right into my expectation of subpar quality Asian food. It’s a cute restaurant and our cocktails weren’t bad but would not ever come here again.

I absolutely love the vibe here and the food. Let’s dive in. They sit you down fairly quickly and they have bar seating as well. They have so many great cocktails and mocktails. The art on the walls is my favorite ambiance of this place. The food is so yummy I don’t mind the price. The green beans and chicken gyozas are my fave 1000/10. The shaken beef comes with white rice but I substitute mine for fried rice which is to die for. They have valet parking in the back that is free for customers. The service is actually really well my only thing is if you sit in the back like I enjoy doing sometimes it’s hard to flag the server cause if you’re out of sight. I eat fast so I be ready to pay on my last bite. Other than that I go frequently and still enjoy every bit of this place.

La Moon is the perfect neighborhood food spot! Every thing on the menu is amazing. Gyoza and green beans for appetizers! Clay pot and shacken beef for entrees! Plus they have the best waiter. I had an amazing birthday with my group of friends.

Loti did such an amazing job taking care of our party. We were sat promptly and greeted with drink suggestions that all were delicious. Our table had a variety of dishes but drunken beef was the fan favorite. All were great portions for the price. Great addition to the neighborhood, can’t wait to come back.
