I would love to introduce our selves. Bill and Sheryl are the proud owners of the added location and are so excited now that we are now open. We are now located on the north and south side of Rapid City. Our very first location is on 402 E. Fairmont Blvd. Suite C. And now we have opened our second location Fairmont Diner Too, 710 N. Lacrosse Street, Suite 2, Rapid City SD. (Former Morningside Cafe) We are open 7 days a week serving breakfast and lunch all day. Daily specials as well. We serve home made style cooking with home made gravies, soups and specials. We provide a warm happy family atmosphere with excellent service and want to ensure you have a relaxed, comfortable experience. Looking forward to serving and meeting you.

Great food for a great price! The staff and owners are so friendly and keep your coffee cup full. Destiny was the best server, and so kind! We love it here! My grandma worked here years ago when it was Morningside Cafe and just being in this place brings back so many beautiful memories ❤️

We had breakfast here. The food was very good and came out in a timely matter. It was HOT when we got it. The staff were friendly and I felt the prices were about average. They also had a very good kids menu for my picky eater. Ill definitely be coming back to try their lunch sometime in the future.

I at first thought the biscuit in my biscuits and gravy was a hamburger bun. It was not the right texture.
Hash browns were good but cold. Our food came out quickly but was not super hot . Eggs were really greasy.
Server was friendly and responsive.
Prices were high. I’m visiting from Sioux Falls and eat out for lots of my meals and for what was offered the prices were high. $9.99 for a kids meal is $5-10 higher than it would be anywhere in SF. I know cost of living and prices are higher out here in Rapid than they are at home but I also visit here a lot and I don’t think I’ve ever seen that kind of pricing on a kid’s meal.

NEVER AGAIN! This place was awful. Extremely overpriced and the food was not good. Zero flavor and the food was barely warm. I cannot believe we paid $50 with a tip for this garbage. At least my food was somewhat edible, my husband’s potatoes were undercooked with very little seasoning and the omelette was overcooked and tasted like oil.. I seriously cannot believe the price for the quality.
Edit: After the long wait. We immediately asked for to-go boxes and our check when our food was served. Had we tried the food before we left(which we should have), we would have politely sent our food back and paid for our coffee!

Nice friendly staff makes you feel at home. I had the BLT with hash browns and my wife had the French dip. Both meals were delicious. Beef was nice and tender and the BLT was a double decker. Will definitely eat here regularly.

Smells like moth balls. Prices for the portions and quality of food felt was a rip off. Food was subpar at best. Service was okay. My recommendation is to find a other option if you are thinking of trying this place for a meal!

Pretty sparse dishes. I got the chicken sand-witch for $15.99 it was literally a single piece of grilled chicken on a bun. No cheese lettuce nothing else. It came with a small handful of fries. My mother in law got the grilled cheese. The bread was defiantly toasted but the cheese was uncooked.
The only 2 redeemable factors of this place was the friendly service and the giant cinnamon roll.
I wish I had photos of how sad all of our dishes looked. Not worth the calories or money.

We went here for the first time and the last time. Had the strawberry waffle special. It was as thin as a cheap frozen waffle. Hardly any strawberries. Had a glass of milk that was soured. So disgusting. 2 people for breakfast and it was well over $40. Go to the Milestone for good food and get much more for your money. This is absolutely nothing like when it was Morningside. Dan cared about what he put out of the kitchen.
