Great experience, across the board. Topnotch service from the moment we entered (shout-out to Scott and Emilee). Large portions of deliciously prepared food that used fresh ingredients and had that homemade element. The bone-in porkchop was juicy and delectable. The beef ribs were extra large and had a tasty glaze. The Guinness Pie came out steaming hot with a sheet of crust that was flaky and delicious. Great sides and desserts. The back story, the original bar, and the decor added to the experience. Definitely worth making the stop.

A fantastic local bar to watch football and get some tasty comfort food.
Tried the veggie platter appetizer first and it was great! A huge plate of veg that could easily be shared by 3 or more. The wings were also nice and hot and quite spicy.
For an entree we got the flatbread which was good but needed just a slight but more crust.
They have a variety of beers on tap but it isn’t a huge selection. A good varietal, including the infamous Pliny.
Staff is always nice and attentive.
Overall definitely recommend giving it a go if you’re in the mood for some good beer, good service, and tasty grub.

Service was as bad as the food! This is what you get for a $25 steak and egg breakfast when you order your steak medium rare! Waiter never even came around to check on us! We won’t be back! And restaurants are wondering why their going out of business!

We went here around 10am-12pm and enjoyed bottomless mimosas while we ate brunch ordered egg benedict & country fried steak. Service was fast, food was good, large portions, cool vibes and lots of tvs for those who love sports. We will return.
Update-We came here for dinner and brought our dogs. We ate at the patio area service was great! They were so nice to our dogs and us. They gave them water and we ordered them turkey patties. It was lots of fun for all of us.

We had a party of 6 and had a reservation via Google. There was a groovy live blues band playing on the patio as we dined inside. Food and service were excellent. I had not been since pre covid and was worried it might not hold up to my expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. Excellent dinner!

I’m not sure what happened to this place. Have probably eaten here a dozen times over the last handful of years and always good and consistent. However a recent stop with my family was just terrible. Party of 9 so i sampled a few things and all were very poor and quite overpriced for the quality and size. An entree salad at $21.95 was no better than Salad and Go for $7- The burger for $17.95 was not even close to a double double or Chilies burger for that matter. They offer a seafood over pasta with marinara that was so fishy and blah i couldn’t believe it $28.95 – Chicken fingers – beef melt sandwich and a couple of apps all Denny’s quality on an off night. Beyond disappointed and i hope this review saves someone from a bad and expensive experience.

I got the pork ribs. I guess they couldn’t find and ribs longer than three inches. These are not barbecued, they are oven cooked and come out perfectly rectangleuler like a brick. Definitely not worth the price. The sauce was good tasting but is like putting lipstick on a pig. The beans taste like they were right out of a can.

I used to enjoy having breakfast at Matt Denny’s Restaurant because of the good food and friendly service. However, today’s experience was quite disappointing. The waitress was rude and discriminatory. She served me coffee without a plate or spoon and didn’t ask what type of coffee I wanted. I had to ask for cream separately, while other tables received warm and attentive service.The coffee was cold, the omelette was dry, the steak was overcooked and had an unpleasant smell, and the hash browns were very dry and tasted awful. This was a stark contrast to my previous visits, where the food and service were much better. Unfortunately, this experience has left a negative impression, and I hope the restaurant addresses these issues.

We attended their St Patty’s Day celebration and we had such a great time, good crowd, good people, we loved all the decorations and the effort put forth making this a good event, from the kitchen staff who was busting their butts to bring out all the orders to the waitress’s who were making sure all patrons were being tended too!
