Sbarro – Trails Travel Plaza, Albert Lea, MN
The Sbarro inside the Trails Travel Plaza is honestly great. The pizza comes out hot, fresh, and full of flavor way better than most travel-center options. The whole area is clean and well kept, and the staff is quick and friendly. Super convenient if you want something satisfying without a long wait. Definitely worth grabbing a slice when you stop here.

From five stars a few months ago down to a zero. Pizza was on the burnt side and tasted so, pepperoni was reminiscent of charred bacon, tough to chew and with an off-putting taste. A waste of $23.00 for a pizza, I wish I would have gone 5 ft over to McDonald’s.
This is the second location I’ve been to and both pizzas did not taste how they normally do. I think they changed the ingredients they use and not for the better. I’ll give them one more shot but if not it’ll be the last Sbarro pizza I buy.

We never ate sbarro Pizza in illinois or ohio coz its just a dough however the staff here at this locatiom make an awesome delicious almost as NYCity one, crispy crunchy and darker well done and we always find Marni and Krissi the sweet ladies , they make sure we are satisfied , we’ll stop again

Just got two stromboli. We were traveling and tried to eat in the car. Both were raw (dough was not even close) in the middle. Tried to call and inform them just so they could correct the issue. Phone rang for about 4 minutes before I hung up. Got the number from here (rang into taco bell and got transferred) so thought I would follow up with a post.

Came from Rochester to get pizza. First think I was over charged for 2 pizzas. Second thing is they forgot a whole pizza lol. I said I’ve already waited 30 minutes now I have to wait longer. Got attitude from the staff when I brought it up. This place is a joke!! Waited over an hour for my pizza.

Ordered NY Slice Spinach/Tomato and the cashier (RS) served wrong order. When we asked to correct it, she got super mad and showed attitude for the mistake she made. Almost threw the ordered pizza at us. Real nasty attitude. The behavior was not called for. The pizza was good though but the overall experience was below par.

Let’s start by saying I’ve not had Sbarro in 30 years. So when the truck stop got one we ordered a full pepperoni pizza and 2 orders of breadticks (2 sticks for 3.55).
To my great disappointment they fell well short of my memories, the sauce was nothing more than stewed tomatoes (no spices) so bland and tasteless, the peperoni suffered from the same tasteless state..they didn’t make fresh breadsticks,but rather pulled them from the display and slice stand and reheated them basically baking g whatever butter sauce was on them off. On the bright side the pizza crust was good, just not good enuff for me to want to eat Sbarro again.
Ps marinara is not just stewed tomato sauce for dipping sticks,for love of pizza add some spice.
