Sbarro, founded in Brooklyn, offers the Original XL New York-style pizza. Our dough is made fresh by hand every day, and we shred 100% whole-milk mozzarella cheese at our locations. We also use San Marzano-style tomato sauce. Each slice is baked to perfection, providing that authentic, foldable New York bite you won’t find anywhere else. Whether you’re craving pizza, stromboli, or pasta, Sbarro uses real ingredients and delivers genuine New York flavor for any occasion.

Sbarro – Trails Travel Plaza, Albert Lea, MN
The Sbarro inside the Trails Travel Plaza is honestly great. The pizza comes out hot, fresh, and full of flavor way better than most travel-center options. The whole area is clean and well kept, and the staff is quick and friendly. Super convenient if you want something satisfying without a long wait. Definitely worth grabbing a slice when you stop here.
This is the second location I’ve been to and both pizzas did not taste how they normally do. I think they changed the ingredients they use and not for the better. I’ll give them one more shot but if not it’ll be the last Sbarro pizza I buy.
PS: This review only for sbarro not for the staff inside the store / the restaurant or the fuel desks both sides , they are rude and vicious .
To my great disappointment they fell well short of my memories, the sauce was nothing more than stewed tomatoes (no spices) so bland and tasteless, the peperoni suffered from the same tasteless state..they didn’t make fresh breadsticks, but rather pulled them from the display and slice stand and reheated them basically baking g whatever butter sauce was on them off. On the bright side the pizza crust was good, just not good enuff for me to want to eat Sbarro again.
Ps marinara is not just stewed tomato sauce for dipping sticks, for love of pizza add some spice.
