This was a very pleasant surprise in a very small town. We were in Jerome about ten minutes away and couldn’t find parking so we came off the mountain and decided to eat here.
They have a HUGE menu with lots of variety. They managed to make the meat eaters, fish eaters, vegans and the “I’ll just have some of your fries” members of our party all happy. The portions are large enough to share or be prepared to bring home leftovers. Great value for the money.
There’s a full bar menu as well as a kids menu too. We will definitely be going back.

Stopped here after our kayaking tour. We were super hungry and this place hit the spot! You have to love small towns, the server’s 10 year old son was helping out and took our order. He did great The food came out pretty quickly and was very good! Would definitely stop back here if we were in the area.

First visit with the hubby. We ordered Jalapeno teriyaki wings, which were ABSOLUTELY amazing!! My husband got the buffalo chicken sandwich and he wasn’t a fan. Didn’t like the sauce! I got the cali melt, wasn’t the greatest. It tasted better with the teriyaki sauce lol Genesis the server was ABSOLUTELY amazing! Super nice and friendly. Very helpful when it came to the menu. 🙂

OK, so I’ve only done 750 reviews and am still an amateur. It’s not likely I’ll ever work for Michelin Guides. Still, I can say that I’ve been around the world, eating food in 14 countries, and have even been a professional waiter (at Enchantment Resort in Sedona) so I do have a bit of knowledge when it comes to restaurants and food. Besides, I love to eat out and I’m not picky, I just like good food that’s made with love.
I used to bring my daughters to the Clarkdale Park back in the late 70’s when we lived in Cottonwood. Clarkdale was so quiet and quaint that if you blinked while driving through you’d miss it. The town is still that small, however the quality establishments that line main street have risen to a level that can rival even Sedona. Seriously!
Main Street Cafe is the anchor of this fantastic new energy. Their food is outstanding, imaginative, and fresh. Nothing like a fresh salad that has no hint of the wilt, especially if the ingredients are superbly combined and arranged like Main Street’s kitchen staff provided. The Calamari Steak appetizer, with decently-sized strips, was just lightly breaded enough to add a bit of flavor and still maintain the fresh Calamari tang. Wow is all I can say. I’ll get it next time I visit for sure and I’ll try some other entrees as well since their menu had plenty.
I can’t stand the traffic in Sedona anymore and Jerome in a sense is even worse. Cottonwood is basically holding its own in this respect, however in Clarkdale I just pulled up on main street and walked into this cafe for my meal. No fuss over parking or dealing with crazy drivers. So glad that I did……

Incredible food and great owners. They have indoor and outdoor seating or you can also order their food from the 10/12 Lounge, Smelter Town Brewery, or to go. There are gluten free options, several pecan smoked BBQ items, beer, cocktails, wings, pizza, salads, sandwiches, and daily specials that can sell out quickly. If you like spicy food ask for a side of their homemade Atomic sauce.

What a pleasant surprise! We stopped here after we visited the Copper Museum. The staff is friendly and the food was quite enjoyable. We ordered a Hard Lemonade and a Bloody Mary, both were refreshingly good. My husband had Fish and Chips while I had the Antipasto Salad….Both were YUMMO! Check out this little gem when you’re visiting Clarkdale, AZ.
