I ordered online. I ordered the Szechuan chicken and the beef with mixed vegetables. Both were very, very delicious. The food was ready to go on time and was hot off the stove.
My critiques:
I paid extra to upgrade from plain rice to ham fried rice and from plain white rice to vegetable lo-mein. The vegetable lo mein literally had NO vegetables. It should be called “plain lo mein”. The ham fried rice had barely any detectable ham in it. It should be called “somewhat ham fried rice”. I asked for packets of sweet and sour sauce and the lady told no because my order didn’t include it. The atmosphere is not very inviting, almost like they don’t want you to sit down and eat there. Lastly, the online order app automatically adds about a 20% tip on a pickup order! You can edit it if you know it’s there, but it would be easy to miss.

This was my first visit, and I’m so glad I gave it a try! We ordered the cashew chicken and crab rangoon, both were delicious, and the portions were so generous that two of us were full with leftovers. I’ll definitely be back and recommend this place to my friends.

This food was so tasty! We got the veggie egg rolls (classic), orange chicken (best I’ve ever had! Holy crap it was SO GOOD!), the BBQ pork with broccoli (good, but the pork was a little chewy and the veggies were very crunchy – but the flavor was good), and the chicken chow fun (spicy and super tasty!). We also got sides of the white and fried ham rice, which perfectly complimented the rest of the meal.
We spent about $50 total on all this, and it was very worth it. There’s enough food for several people, and it is seriously delicious. I think the orange chicken here might be the best I’ve had in a while.

Update: I gave the new owners a second try and ordered a family dealit was a very good deal and the whole family enjoyed it. Still a little overpriced to what the old owners did.
Second review: I’m so sad! This used to be one of my favorite restaurants! New owners completely changed the menu and recipes. No more $5 Rice Bowl, or 1 and 2 item specials. There is now only $9-10 a la carte and $7 lunch specials. Over priced for what you get.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I’m a regular at the Chinese Kitchen. Food here is good. Most of the items are made to order. Excellent value for the quality and quantity. A $5 rice bowl that is fresh and decent-sized… Great deal. There is better Chinese around, but not at this price! Don’t let the owner/operator turn you off to this place. She is always short and rude. Once you get to know her she is funny and kind. She just doesn’t offer any pleasantries that many of us are used to ;). They prefer you to call ahead… so the order can be ready by the time you arrive. My favorites are the Jalapeno Chicken and the BBQ Chicken or Pork.

I moved to the area a couple of years ago and this place quickly became my go-to Chinese spot. I’ve been coming here at least a couple of times a month ever since! The food is always delicious, the prices are great, and the staff is super friendly it just feels like a neighborhood gem.

We’ve been here a few times and really enjoyed the food. Compared to similar restaurants in the area the chicken usually seems very fresh and the noodles are high quality. My current favorite is the orange chicken and my wife enjoys the chow mi fun.

I love this little restaurant. They do have an allergy disclaimer that they use MSG, so it might not be for everyone, but the people working here are nothing but friendly and kind and the food is DELICIOUS. If you’re looking for a sweet, neighborhood Asian restaurant come on over! Plus, the chef makes gorgeous little carrot butterflies and radish flowers as garnish for your meal.
