I don’t leave reviews, but this experience was bad enough that I feel people should be warned. This Subway was absolutely disgusting from the moment we walked in. The restaurant was visibly dirty, which already made us uncomfortable about ordering food there. Unfortunately, the service was even worse.
The employee working at the time, Megan, was unbelievably rude and hostile. Before we had even placed an order, we were standing there calmly reading the menu and deciding what to get. One of us politely asked to use the restroom, and instead of responding professionally, she rolled her eyes while giving us the code, making it very clear she was annoyed just by being asked.
A moment later, while we were still deciding, she looked at my family and aggressively snapped, “ARE YOU GONNA ORDER OR WHAT!?” The tone was completely uncalled for and incredibly disrespectful. There was no greeting, no patience, and no basic customer service, just attitude and hostility. We were made to feel rushed, unwelcome, and uncomfortable.
No customer should ever be spoken to that way, especially when they haven’t done anything wrong. Between the filthy environment and the unacceptable behavior from the staff, we decided to leave immediately. We took our business to Jimmy John’s instead, where we were treated with basic courtesy and respect.
I will not be returning to this Subway location, and I strongly suggest management address the cleanliness issues and retrain their staff on how to treat customers.

Worst subway experience I have EVER had, will not be returning to this location. Employee Megan acted very strange, I approached the counter and she simply looked at me, did not greet me or ask what I would like to order. Once I initiated my order she began sloppily piecing together my sandwich. While my sandwich was in the toaster I witnessed her scratch her scalp with her gloved hand before continuing to assemble my sandwich without changing her gloves. As disgusting as this is it was only that much more disturbing seeing as she appeared to be extremely unhygienic. Being the person I am and wanting to avoid unnecessary confrontation I paid for my sandwich but after leaving I was unable to bring myself to eat it after what I witnessed, I found a jimmy johns with much better service to satisfy my sandwich craving.

I completely understand how things can get being short staffed which seemed like that’s what happened today. Unfortunately, it doesn’t give staff a reason to be dismissive and rude. After reading past reviews it seems like this is a repetitive issue that I hope management gets a hold of.
We waited in line and when we finally started our order we got told there was only white & wheat bread, cool. Afterwords there’s no lettuce, tomato, etc besides cucumber and bell peppers. When I politely ask if there was any lettuce the response is “no that’s why there’s nothing in the bins” which came off very sarcastic. I understand it happens, but notifying the line that they’re out of everything.. besides cucumbers & bell peppers would’ve been great to know before getting to that section in ordering. Loved stopping here before going to the mountains, but will be going to other establishments in the future.

To the subway worker at this location in Idaho Springs who made me move my car 2 spots over in an empty lot this morning: I cannot compete with the massive amounts of power you hold, oh ye righteous one. Woe to those who dare park too close to your subway door as an evil Starbucks customer. Keep fighting the good fight my queen. Management: you might want to update your parking signage.

We stopped in today, and the person working there was clearly acting like they were on something — twitching, rambling incoherently, and moving erratically. It took nearly 20 minutes to serve just three people ahead of us. My wife and daughter were genuinely scared. It felt unsafe, and the person claiming to be the manager was totally unprofessional.

Just go to Starbucks next door or find another place to eat

This place is absolutely disgusting. Restaurant wasn’t clean, and service was horrendous. Yall need to fire Megan, she was incredibly rude even before opening her mouth.
Headed over to Jimmy John’s instead.
