I went here with seven other people. Everyone agreed that the food was very good. There is a good selection of wines and specialty mixed drinks. The hamburger was cooked perfectly as was the fillet mignon. The appetizers are all spectacular. I would return for another meal.

We always start with bread service from Balthazar along with the appetizer portion of the Shrimp with Plantains! A must! The quality of meats is always fresh along with sides and sauces to accompany. Roost has an amazing modern nostalgic vibe. The bar is led by Rockland’s best bartender, Oz, he is a mixologist wizard and has the warmest personality. The food is delicious and consistent. I enjoyed one of the best steaks in years last evening, it was one of several specials, 21-day dry aged ribeye. You could smell the aged beef and it was perfectly seasone & cooked medium rare, no need for the au poivre sauce which was also delicious. My wife enjoyed another special of the day a lobster burrito, large pieces of delicious lobster perfectly prepared. My daughter had the roast chicken & my brother in law the NY Strip also out of this world. The potato soup and east coast oysters were equally as good. Roost has become our favorite restaurant in the Rockland Area. We can’t wait to return, even if just for a quick cocktail with Oz!

My husband and I held our wedding reception at Roost Restaurant in September of 2020. Roost is a SPECTACULAR and classy space for small to medium sized events. Beyond the beautiful atmosphere, the service and food is outstanding! Maria, Kevin, Kate and the team at Roost took incredible care of us; our guests are still raving about the food and cocktails. Every single detail was perfect; from the cocktails, to the desserts, decorations, live music and everything in between, I give Roost my highest recommendation and 5-stars. Very nice restaurant. We all started with a round of cocktails and they were very delicious. Next we ordered a variety of seafood platters which was fresh and tasted great. My favorite thing was my entree, the filet with mashed potatoes. The dessert here was a fantastic way to wrap up your meal and I highly recommend the mini donuts.
