Better than your average Chinese takeout. The chicken they use seem to be of good quality and not all breading like some other spots. Small hole in the wall place with limited seating. They got our food out to us fairly quickly. Currently my 2nd favorite Chinese takeout in the Cincinnati area including NKY.

This was my first time trying food at this establishment, and I can truly say that I will never eat here again. I ordered the shrimp mei fun, and this was the worst meal I’ve ever had. First off, they gave me 90% pasta, maybe 8 shrimp, 8% vegetables and eggs, and 2% sauce. This was dry, tasteless, and cold. I had to remove paste just to get to the shrimp and vegetables. The only pleasure i had was my egg roll. I paid over $16 for a total disappointment. Please think twice before buying food here.

Always fast, always good, the portions are great for the price and the food always seems fresher than other Chinese restaurants I’ve been to. I always order online and pick up but they do have a few dine in seats if needed. Not the kind of place you’d take a family or a date on to dine in (you could but it doesn’t seem to present itself as a restaurant like that) but you could easily have a meal there.
A reliable regular in our ordering dinner rotation.

I prefer brown sauce over white and they have no problem with making your food with your choice of sauce, like chow mein.

Our first visit. We tried the House special chow mein & Hot n’ sour soup. The portions are large enough to share. Look forward to trying more from the menu.
Second visit we tried Pineapple chicken & Coconut shrimp. I can see myself craving the coconut shrimp, crazy good.
Third visit we tried Seafood soup, Shrimp chow mein (good but liked House special more). We have been back more times and everything has been tasty.

I just ordered here for the first time in probably five years and now I remember why – it’s terrible. I’m gonna end up throwing this away! I ordered general TSO’s chicken and it has zero flavor. Like they poured ketchup on it. Or some store bought sauce. Soggy, not crunchy or crispy at all. Rice is gross. I don’t know what this is either… in this second picture?!?! Wet breading, disintegrated “chicken”. Yeah… these reviews are not it. Because this is NASTY.

Number 1 kitchen is our favorite Chinese food place! We love it! It’s always affordable. The food is always fresh and hot! And everyone is always really nice. We always have had good service no matter what.

My Dr and I ordered here for the first time today and we both can agree the name does not speak for itself. I ordered the house egg foo young, bourbon chicken platter added shrimp and a order of crab ragoon. First off the egg foo young was horrible. It was extremely greasy and they did not put any seasonings on the entree at all, so it was just a plain omelette with veggies.the egg was soggy and very little meat, with a whole lot of vegetables, would not recommend for anyone. Second was the bourbon chicken add shrimp. The chicken was delicious however the rice had onions but no peas and carrots so if your looking for traditional fried rice, don’t look here. Oh and also I paid an additional $2 for shrimp and they only gave me one, so don’t pay for extras cause they ain’t giving it to you. The crab ragoon was ok but no crab meat just cream cheese. They seem to cut a lot of corners to save them money, so Do not go here with high expectations cause you will be disappointed. You can definitely find a better Chinese restaurant that deserves the name/title No.1 Kitchen

I had young chow fried rice and wonton soup. Portion is big with fair price. And they tasted very good. First time here, and I’ll be going back for more and other food in the menu.

Went with my son. Don’t call it dine in if you have to order at the counter. My thirteen dollar chefs special Szechuan chicken was almost all green pepper and onion, no broccoli and TWO snow peas! The chicken was rubbery and gross. My son’s sweet and sour chicken was good. Then when my son asked for three to go containers, the young guy at the counter said “I’m sure you can fit it in two”. Totally unprofessional. My son calmly replied that we needed another one for the rice. I am not coming to this restaurant again.

Ordered 2 large boneless BBQ ribs with white rice, that is not what I got. Also the egg rolls were dry. Usually their food is good but they were right on correcting the order and making it right
