This is one of those places that you HAVE to go to at least once, just for the novelty. However, unlike other novelty foods, they don’t skimp out on quality!
I’ve been here a few times now, and always gotten the Papa, because come on, it’s a giant cheeseburger, of course I’m gonna buy that! Fantastic flavor and price. My uncle got the giant Tenderloin on the latest run – surprisingly, it wasn’t sacrificing flavor to hit this size! It had a good thickness that allows the pork’s flavor to still shine.
Now, even though the prices are good, it’s easy for it to add up quick on these novelty giant foods, just because they have to cost a little more than a usual burger or tenderloin. Especially since sides are priced seperate.
The only possible complaint that I have is that there wasn’t really enough fries in an order – you can see in the photos, that’s the amount given. I had to kind of conserve them as I ate because I would’ve ran out too quickly. Otherwise, this is a fantastic place to eat.

This place is exactly what it looks like, a small town bar and spot to eat. The food was hot and good, but I really couldn’t believe the size of the Papa Burger. I hadn’t heard if it before and was pretty surprised when they brought my husband a plate sized patty. I am willing to bet they fill up every seat often.

Had the papa tenderloin this time and it was great. Really like this place stop by everytime that I’m in town. Food is always good and everyone is super nice. Recommend this to anyone in the area that hasn’t been.

Sat for half an hour and no one came to the table, despite the waitress making eye contact, standing in the kitchen with her arms crossed, and rude side eyed looks. Even tried going to the bar, nothing. Finally decided to leave and as soon as we were half out the door, she decided to actually come our way and clean the table beside ours. I’ve tried to see what others have about this place multiple times, done!

My husband says this is his kind of place. Friendly little local bar and grill, good food and the beer was cold. We got there on a Monday night which they were closed for pool night and we did not know that. The waitress came along and tells us that and was nice enough to allow us to stay and eat and the cook was still there in the kitchen and we had great steaks and burger and cold beer with some friends we were celebrating their anniversary. They did not have to do that and we had driven quite a number of miles so it was really appreciated. We will go back again for sure and recommend for a great bite to eat.

Small little mom and pop place that is definitely a place to grab a great cheeseburger! Papa burger was amazing and that is a regular size cheeseburger beside it that I couldn’t even finish!!

Delicious burgers, tenderloin sandwiches, and sides, especially pepper jack cheese balls. Haven’t had anything here that I didn’t like. Lots of cold drinks. Good service. Always some familiar faces inside. Cinnamon rolls are a real treat. Greasy spoon/hole in the wall type local bar.

The usual bar fare is done well. Tenderloins are a popular item. I make a special trip or try to plan my route to get within 10 miles so I can stop to get a pizza burger, which is my personal favorite. It does get busy around lunch and dinner times, but they do a good job of getting orders out.
