Enjoyed a lunch date with my Dad. He and my Mom used to go all the time, and they loved the people and the food. First day of the year today serving food, chicken cordon bleu, sandwich with bacon, cheese and apples. Carmel apple dessert was delicious!

I was a student at the career center from 2019-2021 in the culinary class. My favorite part was being able to help run Blooming Chefs. I just went back today for the thanksgiving dinner and the current students and teachers did a wonderful job putting it on! The food was DELICIOUS (as always) and the students were so friendly and welcoming. I would recommend blooming chefs over ANY restaurant. Not only is the food fresh and homemade, but it is such great quality too!

Blooming Chefs is a student-run restaurant at the area career center. The students are learning to run a restaurant in a classroom setting, and I highly recommend trying Blooming Chefs. My wife and I recently ate there for their Christmas lunch buffet, as our son is a student there. everything we tried was absolutely delicious. the students really took pride in every task they were given to make the experience enjoyable and delicious.

We dined at Blooming Chef’s when the skill center had their open house in March. The dinner was delicious (Chicken Fettuccine), the soup was awesome, and the dessert was out of this world. The instructor of this program really knows what (he or she) is doing. The students are lucky to have such an experienced teacher for their program. The students did a very nice job. Good thing their dining hours are limited as I”d be spending too much time there. Good things are happening at BASC.

Food is delicious. Be patient with the staff as these are high school students in a learning environment. Instructors do a great job of supporting the kids, allowing them to learn but not get overwhelmed.
